Tried to keep from spending 85 dollars last weekend, only spent 10 percent of that during the Interplay sale. (Their prices mixed with my not having sale-level amounts of coin lying around helped.) But the list still stands at 150. Can't drop that by not buying.

penumbren: Maybe not as much success as you... but yeah, pretty much. You definitely outdo me on the amount, however. ;)
Not having much in the way of other hobbies helps. Makes the sales a bit easier to clear out.
If it's any consolation, right now you're looking at 372 in total. More than enough to keep a person busy for quite a while, but not so much that it starts looking like an abyss you keep trying to fill a few dollars at a time. =)

What bird do I feel like? Definitely a toucan. They could do some serious can opening with that epic beak.

The day has been treating me quite well so far, I'm having one of my happy for no apparent reason days. I guess I'm just having an enjoying life today day.

Hmmm, I guess I will go for a Kestrel. I just saw one flying overhead and it looked to be enjoying the fresh air and the countryside, which is what I'm doing right now (helping a neighbouring farmer repair his fences outside). Or maybe a Robin. I had one in my garden this morning looking so happy and carefree, which is how I am feeling today. I'm not sure why, but the last day or so I have been feeling quite happy, probably due to spending an enjoyable day yesterday with my partner.

As for the kitchen appliance, I'm not sure.
