Do you know what caused the laptop to act weird?

Still no idea. It was really odd becuase when i booted it after i got home from university and logging into my account (I'm using 8.1) the system pretended to be a fresh installation...
And after i rebooted the system it wouldn't even load Windows properley but after a few reboots it suddenly worked...o.O...Doing some scans now...but i'm totally confused...

Well i started using Linux on my systems but i use Windows regularly and i've never something like that before...

I have never really used Linux. I had a little play with it very briefly, but I have just never needed to use it. Are you using it for work, or for gaming, or both?

I'm sort of talked out about it at the moment, since we just spent the weekend with my aunt and other family members, and I think we're moving into the grieving past the shock. Fortunately, my aunt will be staying with my grandparents, since she's still in shock, and will have support once the reality hits.
