kojocel: I just wish all these Witcher 3 topics would move to the game forums, instead of polluting General thread.

Bah.
About that...

It seems like I'm not missing much of anything by jumping directly to this thread.

ddickinson: Good morning!

Are we guaranteed to get a release today? I wonder why GOG does not add upcoming releases to their tab, some are there, but most never show there before release. Does Steam also not reveal upcoming games generally?

I am good, thank you. A bit tired, and eager to finish the task I am currently doing (health checks for the livestock, complete with all the lovely documentation) and get on with some other jobs that need doing. The rain looks like it will return today, which will limit what I can get done, but I still have lots to keep me occupied, so it's not too bad.

Do you have anything nice planned for the day?
Tuesdays are typically release days, but the Witcher 3 would definitely count as such. It'll be up to GOG on whether or not they're putting anything else out for the day.

The competition tends to have pop-up ads when you turn it on that mention the latest arrivals, offers to pre-order when certain items are high profile enough, stuff like that.
If they do so in any other way, I honestly don't know. Not really in the habit of grabbing current games from them.

Animal care, administrative work and trudging through a mud bog. Sounds exciting. ;)

Not really, just another day here. Nothing thrilling.

LaPtiteBete: Really ?... õ__ô... ha, possible... in the hole, you mean ?
avatar
j0ekerr: Actually I meant the one being tripped. Didn''t he use to play 'le maladroit gendarme' very often?
I don't remember les "Gendarmes" movies very well... usually De Funes is extra speed, not particularly clumsy ?... (Bourvil is !)
avatar
ddickinson: I am not buying that "or so I hear" excuse for one minute. :-)

But why would you want to watch a 30 foot tentacle doing things to an animated schoolgirl? Is it the schoolgirl that appeals to people, or the strange tentacle thing, and if it's the tentacle thing then that raises even more questions. :-)
avatar
j0ekerr: Think really hard about it. Do you really want to know the answer to those questions?

avatar
CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

Can't complain overall, doing okay in general. Idly wondering if Dex is going to show up as the new release, if Witcher 3 is the new release (which would make sense), or if it'll be something else all together.

How're you doing?
avatar
j0ekerr: I don't know how she's doing but if she really wants to know the answer to those questions, then she's going to stay huddled under her blanket, grabbing her knees and rocking herself.

You however should grab some sleep with it being 3 am there. Unless you've had so much coffee your blood could be drank with cream and sugar at this point.
Well, I figure it could be a number of things in the 30 foot tentacle/schoolgirl scenario.

No cream or sugar here, just pot after pot of black coffee. I don't have the time, energy or inclination to get my coffee tasting like something other than coffee when I can just drink it by the gallon.

Well he's well known for le gendarme saga.

Also, I just found out his father was from Málaga. Like Banderas.

I frigging swear...if I could, my Icewind party would be working for the bad guy until I could kill them off and take all the power for myself.

Pretty sure there are deities in D&D that like getting human sacrifices, so why am I not getting the option to butcher the townspeople while burning the stupid tree in the middle of town down?

Also, here's a fun late night song -

Bloodhound Gang - A Lap Dance Is So Much Better When The Stripper Is Crying.

I know by name, but I've never seen them :-) ...
And yes, I remember that... once I saw a very interesting report about his biography...

Let's just explain it with rule 36 of the internet.

Also, flesh is rubber.

ElTerprise: I stayed up until 2 a.m. i think and i didn't sleep that well (it was raining outside). Even if i could play Witcher 3 now - i would wait a bit until the whole Release hype etc...has decreased...i got a bit more relaxed concerning launches recently...:)
Glad to hear that your doing good - i wouldn't dare calling that simple. I know a bit about farms as i had a friend living on farm nearby where i live when i was in primary school :)
But at least the site is working okay, I was picturing it all crashing and GOG bears all over the place.

Do I really want to know about your strange tentacle fetish? Nope, you are right, it's best not to know. :-)

I was about to say it's a good job GOG does not have any of those kind of games here, but then I remember GOG has Octodad, which must be a nice treat for all the tentacle lovers. :-)

What makes it a bit more tedious is that really I should not have to be doing it. The farmer whose pigs they are should have done it. But I can't be too mad at him, he is a very kind and hard working old man, but sadly his health is not too good any more and he is struggling - it took him long enough to swallow his pride and ask for help. As the pigs are on our land and under our care, I though it best to keep everything above board, as we are held accountable for the animal's welfare. A few so far need a vet just to check a few things, but so far they are in good health.

Damn it, I looked at another thread, and one more time it's me stifling the urge to start screaming at someone.

You're doing something nice and being helpful. No surprise there.

Good idea also, don't need to get some kind of hassle as the result of your kindness.

We don't mind helping, that's what we normally do for each other. I just wish he had not been so proud and asked for help earlier, as his farm needs some work as well, which we will help out with once we have finished these next few busy weeks.

Once I get some more free time I will go have a look at the other animals on his land, just to help out and make sure they are all doing okay. He tries his best, along with his wife, but neither of them are in the best of health anymore.
