ddickinson: Okay, so a while ago I mentioned that England had a saying "pardon my French", which referred to curse words. And I notice that after your week as a Frenchman, you keep saying "pluck". I think that the French have had a bad effect on you. :-)
The French can't take all the credit... I learned that curse word from you :-D

Let's take a trip back in time... three months ago ;-p

I see, so I persuaded you to change from American profanity to French profanity. Well at least the French one is more classy and not as offensive. Plus with you working for Owl now you need to keep up with your French. :-)

How are you liking the staff picks this week, see any game you like?

*random big hug*
Hey - i just want to drop in for a moment...the class is making me sleepy today...

Hm...a history lesson promo...interesting..

I agree, it is more classy. It is French, after all... French stuff is automatically classy and cool B-|
Owl's self-censorsh*p has definitely rubbed off on me quite a lot too :-p

Nothing particularly interesting this week. I have Stronghold in my backlong. Maybe I'll finally give it a try and see if I want to buy Crusader.

Oh, and... *not-as-random return hug* :-)

I am glad to hear you are picking up some of Owl's good traits. :-)

I have the two Stronghold games as well, but I have yet to play them. They look fun, and I played them a little some time ago. I think once I have some more time for gaming, I will use some random picking method and start going through all my games. Maybe I should just pick a letter and then play every game starting with that letter. Then when they are done, pick another letter, and so on until I have defeated my backlog.

*completely random return hug*

I mostly lurk around, but I just want to drop in and say that you all are alright.

I've had trouble finding the right gaming forum to peruse, a lot of the gaming communities just don't sit well with me. I've been gaming all my life - mostly on PC, with what little games and money I had. I appreciate that there's a forum that still digs old school PC games from a time before they needed to look super flashy or came with the Master Race bandwagon.

Cheers!

Nothing for me this week. I own the two Stronghold games, and the others do not really appeal to me.

LaPtiteBete: Ha yeah, San Andreas :D ... my favorite !!
And what the hell is securom ??...
Securom is a blight on gaming and a blasphemy on the emperor's face that should be exterminated with excommunication.
That means, orbital bombardment.

ddickinson: I don't think I am being modest, many people do what I do, and many people do a lot more, as I said, I just spend a few hours with them now and then and try to put a smile on their face. They found the play all funny at first, but after a while they started to take part and love it. I said they can pick another one of his plays for next time. I just hope it is not Romeo and Juliet, as that is my lest favourite of his plays.

This is the main part of the play we did for them, we did some other scenes as well, but this was their favourite. But keep in mind that this is the shortened movie version, the actual play and the version me and my partner did with them was the full length content. It's easier to watch than the fun length scene, and it's not a bad movie adaptation. It keeps the speaking style, but takes out sentences to keep it short and film length. We spend a lot of time with them just asking questions about the scene and things like that, so we did not get much of the play done, but they enjoyed it.

And this is the scene for your dialogue on the picture. Again, the original scene in the play is longer, as this clip is the shortened version for the movie. The part that I took your dialogue starts at about 1:40 (it has Brian Blessed in it as Exeter).

My nephew tends to get annoyed if he is trying to say something and we don't understand what. But most of the time it's okay, especially as he just points to things he wants.

*more big French hugs for Owl*
DD, why are you using Brannagh?

I give in to peer pressure very easily... and it is far too easy with the French. Everybody wants to be like them (that is why we have so many hipsters here :-p) ... and above all, how could anyone not want to be just like our lovely Owl? :-)

That way is as good as any to pick games... I always have a hard time deciding... but I do try to rotate genres as much as I can. Playing two or three RPGs or RTS games in a row will quickly burn me out. I have to keep it fresh.

*goodbye hug*

It was the first that came up, and I was too busy (and lazy) to bother picking different versions. :-)

I think you mean everyone American wants to be like them, the English still have a little animosity towards the French. I guess over a thousand years of warfare can do that to people. :-)

But I agree, our lovely Owl is in fact awesome, and I can see why you would like to imitate her. But I think the dress is a bit too much, you can be a male Owl and still be like our wonderful Owl. :-)

Take care, Agent, and have a fun day!
