Of course, it also means I'm too unfocused to actually do what I should be doing right now, which is working. I'm considering picking up FFVII for a bit, if only because I know the early parts of it by heart and so can play while not having to concentrate terribly much on it.

Can someone tell me: If I've never played the Avernum games, but own the collection... would it be a good thing or a bad thing to pick up the remake and play it instead of the original (well, first remake?) of the first one?

Yeah, I'd say the smoke shop is a much better option. -laughs-
Granted, 14 is downright balmy compared to that 50 below 0 crap, but you'd still end up a frozen scarecrow out there.

After a great deal of messing around I've dumped Fireox as my means of GOGular interaction and become a shiny Chrome user - which also means my GOGWiki page is active again (a couple of you asked where it was). Why Firefox didn't like the arrangement beats me; I suppose it isn't into old games. Technology's becoming more human every day...

I also just went to the kitchen to get a snack and my other half came out saying, "I've just farted in there." Nice of her to let me know. Think I'll hang on a while for that snack...

Yeah, I opted for the smokes. Went with no gloves and drinking a cold diet Pepsi though. After working on the car yesterday it actually does feel pleasant now, amazing how fast we get used to things.

1.) Firefox tends to be a 'moving target' as far as reliability goes.

I dunno if it would miss me, but I would certainly miss it.
After about 30 hours without it, I would start shaking and sweating profusely. After 48 hours, I'd be passing out and vomiting until I took it again.

Adaptability's great, yes. Weird thing, it only seems to really happen with cold weather. I never see someone saying that 108 used to be horrible, but now they're just fine.
Usually they're screaming about fans or air conditioning or heat stroke....
