ElTerprise: *returns the big good-morning hug*
I'm good - i'm glad you're doing great :D
Do you had a nice weekend?
Yes, I did !
I saw a friend who was giving a comical play in Theater... had a barbecue with many friends, slept at their place... and invited family friends for a greek meal at home... otherwise, done some home tasks and rested... ;)
What about you ?? :)
avatar
ElTerprise: Morning. That's great to hear. Doing good and the cold is staying away fat the moment although it might come back due to the poor weather (but i don't hope so)...:)
*crossing my fingers that is stays the pluck away ):-|*

That sounds really good :).
I had a mostly quiet weekend and i had to fight a coming cold but otherwise it was good. My parents brought some documents home from my aunt. These documents were from my (deceased) grandparents and were an interesting read as they included parts of a family tree which i'm really interested in :).

ElTerprise: I'm doing good. Well i'll have three days of university. The nice things will happen (hopefully) from thursday onwards when i'll be attending the FedCon in Düsseldorf :)

What about you?
I am just working, I have another long week to look forward to.

What is FedCon?

AgentBirdnest: Thanks again, really. It means a lot... *another freaking huge hug*

Glad you are good. Seems that is usually the case :-)

No big plans... The days are getting sunnier and warmer... I'll likely have a little voyage through that lovely canyon again today...
Of course my usually case is a "good", despite a few bad things, my life is awesome and I am happy, so I see no reason to let those bad things make me any less than "good". If I was not so tired it would be "great". :-)

I love a nice walk in the countryside and in natures. I hope you enjoy your voyage through the Peanut Butter canyon (that is what it will be called when Owl takes over the world and lets you name American landmarks). :-)

LaPtiteBete: Ah, sorry that you feel tired... already... or should I say, still... Didn't you spend a resting Sunday ?...
I'll have a normal busy week :) ... Have 3 studies on the go, must finish at least one this week (a rather big one), and then work on the others...
My next training session (normally scheduled in middle June) has been cancelle... (aaaaaawww n__n <--- extremely poor pretending-to-be-sad face)
Otherwise, tomorrow I'll go to a regional information meeting, specially for the engineering consulting firms... I go every year, it's interesting (mostly)... but this year, I'll go alone... :-| ... it's much more funny when I go with random colleagues...
I bet you still have a lot of work ?...
I did not really spend my sunday resting, but it was still nice, kind of. Me and my partner went clothes shopping in the morning, then later we visited the children's hospice for the afternoon, which was both nice and upsetting. But it is always the case when I go there.

I see you have a busy week ahead. I hope everything will go great and that you have a lovely week. Do you have anything fun planned for the week outside of work? How are your adorable Owlets?

Did you see the Owl invasion fleet that I did for Fearful's planet picture? If not, here is the link to it. :-)

Thank you. Much appreciated :)
Glad that you're constantly improving after you got rid of the medication :D

Okay but i hope it will be a good week nonetheless :)

FedCon is a SciFi (originally Star Trek) Convention. One of the biggest in Europe. Will be my first time at the convention after my sister asked me to join her :).

Okay, so a while ago I mentioned that England had a saying "pardon my French", which referred to curse words. And I notice that after your week as a Frenchman, you keep saying "pluck". I think that the French have had a bad effect on you. :-)

Thank you. The weather is sadly being a pain, as it is raining quite heavily, and I was hoping to have gotten some extra work done but the rain makes it difficult.

I see, so it's a nerd convention :-). Only joking. Are you going in a costume, or is it not that kind of convention? I hope you have a lot of un at the convention.

Why no costume? Is it just optional, or does no one there wear costumes?

Ho, that sounds awesome !!! I love family histories... old photos, stories, and family trees... :)
I regret I didn't dare asking more about them when my grandparents were still alive.....
Have you ever done your family tree ? :)

AFAIk it's optional and i'm not a huge fan of costumes after all....(and i didn't have the time to get one / make one anyway)...

But if you did go in a costume, what do you think you would wear?
I'm cursing at the idiot devs of the humble store who apparently hate both their customers and money.

Apparently they've decided that you can only buy a maximum of 3 items before they block you to stop asshatted resellers.

I can understand why they want to stop the reseller scammers but 3? Come on!

However, apparently if you pay with credit card instead of paypal it's not considered a fraud risk.

If I were a paranoid individual I'd think it's because they want my data and paypal doesn't let them have it.

Now, where's my tinfoil hat?!

Yeah. They were documents from the marriage of my grandparents in 1942 and of course more questionable documents ranging from photos of my grandfather in uniform or his wookbook from the Reichsarbeitsdienst from 1930s. And i really would have liked to ask my grandparents more about them living in that time and about the war (my grandfather was a medic during the war who barely survived Russia) but i was too young when my grandfather died and i know from my mother that he refused to talk about the time...

But enough from that dark times ....

No i haven't done my family tree yet but i really want to. I also want to track down the parts of my family who emigrated to the US in the 19th Century (if that's possible of course)

Also virgin convention.

Although I hear those alien girls get quite frisky for a man in uniform.

Good morning! How are you today?

I think GOG has their gift limit set to 5, but I am not sure if that is 5 of the same game, or 5 in general.

It's interesting that they will let you buy more with a credit card but not Paypal. I wonder what the reason for that is?
