Yep me too. But after thinking about this since the introduction of the system, I felt it was the lesser evil to use this friend stuff then to set my wishlist to public :P

I got my Owl messages back yesterday, but I'm still missing my Battle Sister ones... Hope I'll get everything back :-/ I like my old messages...

I feel the same, not really big on having my stuff out everywhere. With the competition's software, I have it set so only friends can see anything.

The only problem I had with the import was that I now have a gazillion people on there just because I gifted them at some point.
Makes for quite a list of people I don't know.
With the search it's no biggie though.

Yeah this is really annoying. And I also have tons of empty chats, from people that probably clicked in the wrong place...
But many mentioned this to the blues and they said that we will get the option to close these conversations soon™

Every time someone thanked you/you thanked them, for a gift they wound up in there. It'll be nice to be able to remove them.

It'll make things a lot more organized, which helps.
Liking the search function, since the list is long enough that I've had times where I was looking for a post so I could send a message, only to find out later that I had the name already, it was just buried and I didn't see it.
