CarrionCrow: Well, it's the same frequent narration thing. In Bastion, it was a guy talking as you went like they were telling the story of your adventure, while in Transistor the sword you carry and use is what's talking to you in present time as you check things out.
Okay. As long as it don't start to become annoying i don't mind a narrator...

EndreWhiteMane: Sounds pretty good so far, maybe they learned not to talk the player to death. :-)
Was it that bad in Bastion?

Not really bad but it annoyed me enough that I never got very far in the game.

That's bad. Especially since it's one of the unique selling points of that game....hm..will be interesting to if it'll annoy me too when i play Bastion (at some point)

I liked the way it was handled in Stanley Parable but that's an entirely different type of game ;)

For me, I kinda started wondering if the narrator from Bastion might keep that exact same tone of voice, even if I shoved a cactus up his ass.
So I guess them having the same vocal pitch all the time was starting to bother me a bit...

Going to go ahead and assume that you're referring to the monotone vocal thing and not the cactus insertion thing.

Although, if the latter makes you sleepy, you are officially an infinitely tougher person than I will ever be. =)

Yeah of course the monotone voice....:)
I won't probably sleep ever again in case of cactus insertion - an i have not interest at all to try that ;)

Good to hear. I see that you are successfully kicking that cold's ass. Nice :-)
I'm doing great. I have a roof over my head, people that love me, a friendly cat, and hundreds of video games. How could I not be great? :-D [/appreciating the simple things]

Sorry, I usually talk in metric, more people understand it.
And those who don't? Should learn! :-)
