HypersomniacLive: I've created a Wishlist entry to improve the chat system, if anyone would like to vote:
Necessary improvements and changes to make the current Chat system usable and user-friendly

Cheers.
Good morning! :)

and voted. I'm still giving GoG some time to sort things out before I allow all the changes to get to me,
but I'm sure they are monitoring all the complaints and suggestions.

Hope you doing well as can be, and getting your back straightened out... :)

How's the weekend shaping up for you?

ElTerprise: Hello.

What people are you referring to in particular?
I won't bother you with examples because I don't want to give attention to them. It's easy to find anyway. Just navigate for some time.
Suffice to say is that they are those who their "arguments" for when someone disagree with them can be translated to something like: "You suck, everybody sucks, this place sucks and blah, blah, blah..."

I am not saying that everybody needs to agree with everything. We need to dissent. It's healthy and I think it helps things to evolve. Here and everywhere else.

GhostwriterDoF: That seems rather odd, perhaps they don't get those spells until higher levels? Or is it possible the classes are limited when they are evil? I've never played an all evil party before heh! :o
avatar
CarrionCrow: Oh, it's more than just that. Apparently bringing people back to life is only for good characters. Anyone who's neutral or evil can't.
What? Neutral characters can't even be resurrected? How very odd, indeed...

Evil characters should at least have some dark God (or Goddess) that brings them back automatically but does something mischievous to them for a short time, like turning them into a rat or a snake for a day or two on being revived.
avatar
Soccorro: yeah just thought of that after having posted my last answer... But i'm a bit of an perfectionist and there is that feeling of something being incomplete...
avatar
PalioDeMonte: Have you tried adding them from your library? Worked perfectly for me!
Holy idea! Gotta try that!!!

Okay, to clarify, there are two flavors of bringing people back from the dead.
Raise Dead, which is a level 5 spell that doesn't work on elves for some retarded reason, and Resurrect, which is a level 7 spell that can resurrect anyone, regardless of race.
Anyone can be brought back with a Resurrect, regardless of alignment, BUT, my evil storm priestess can't cast any of those spells, even if she wanted to raise a mass murdering psychopath.

This restriction is not in the original two games. For some reason the developer decided to add it to the EE version.

I'm not sure but that sounds like 2nd edition to me.

Okay. Good point. Seems like the forum is really getting infected by the Steam forums disease...

Alright folks - i'll be off for moment to run some errands.
See you all later *hugs and waves* :)

So I've just looked at the weekend picks and...

Wait a moment, wait a darkseidblessed moment. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!

There's a whole whooping 10 cents difference between The vanishing of Ethan Carter here and the Humble Store offer.

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS, I AM ON THE VERGE OF GOING APESHIT AND START FLINGING POO EVERYWHERE!

WARGHBBGHLHHBL!
Saw some Blackguards gameplay and it seems like a fun game.

I always end my arguments with this.

Game set and match.

isn't senpai used for people who are part of a community or organization longer than yourself? that would mean, that you are her "senpai"... But i'm being overly uncool again. :D So, hi Blob!

But I tend not to blame galaxy and the other technical changes for this. I think most of these idiots were brought here by the TW3 launch and especially the nVidia promo. Don't think they'll stay for more than a month. Stay strong!

Hmm. I'm not feeling the full extent of your outrage. Maybe scream more, say what a piece of shit GOG is and how you'll never buy anything from here again since they're clearly robbing you.
(Assuming of course that the Humble version is cheaper. If GOG's cheaper, shift over to complaining about how expensive independent games are, and how other sites have better sales.)

Also, I'm laughing right now because I find dialogue railroading amusing.
Guy mentions a problem, I get the option of saying I don't care about it and that I'll get back to him in a few days when it's resolved, after which I am immediately railroaded into doing the quest anyway.
