The reading is better than the participating in an exercise of frustration in trying to communicate directly with the disconnected... you would think when people are new to a forum they would put on their best conduct to get acquainted, but then again, GoG is attracting the MP crowds, who are a different type of gamer than the SinglePlayer variety. heh!

More or less. You're playing an american sniper in Berlin at the time of the Battle of Berlin. Iirc (last time i played before today was about a year ago) your job is to capture scientists involved in the development of the V2. That means fighting Germans and later Soviets...

I have only played Sniper Elite 2 and for a little while.

But basically you play as an allied (I assume american from the accent, but I don't remember it being stated explicitly) sniper on a mission to prevent the soviets from getting their hands on any of the V2 project scientists.

It's actually a rather well thought out premise and I'd be surprised if it didn't actually happen.

And the X-ray moments when you score a fatal shot are AWESOME.

That seems rather odd, perhaps they don't get those spells until higher levels? Or is it possible the classes are limited when they are evil? I've never played an all evil party before heh! :o

I'm pretty sure I'll have that ability when my levels are higher, unless the developers are throwing more restrictions into the mix.
If I don't get a dialogue option wherein I run across someone who's on the verge of death and get to tell them, "I'm sorry, I'd just love to bring you back to life, but I can't", I am going to be very annoyed.

Have you tried adding them from your library? Worked perfectly for me!

Some of the cosmetic things should be fixable with a simple script... I might give it a try on the weekend.

Oh, it's more than just that. Apparently bringing people back to life is only for good characters. Anyone who's neutral or evil can't.

Okay, game, I see how this is going to go. I can't use Raise Dead on my own, I can't use Resurrect, and I can't use Heal because my cleric's evil, the pathfinding still eats shit by the plateful, and some bastard goblin just killed my sorcerer so now I have to reload.

Screw it, this sets the tone for an evil run well, since I now want to burn the town to the ground along with everyone in it.
