Soccorro: Oh my god! The chat is so messed up, SO MESSED UP! I have to scroll all the way up to see new messages... and my own messages appear on the bottom!
Yeah, it's messing up for me too. I can't even see new messages and my own keep disappearing.

You have to scroll alll the way up to see new messages... so messed up!
What is messed up is that I have to post somewhere on this forum for my friend to find me and add me to his friends list o.O

ddickinson: Hello, again!

I hope you are all doing good?

avatar
HypersomniacLive: Thanks, I will give it the weekend, and see how things are on Monday. I saw that your shoulder's doing better, that's good to hear.
avatar
ddickinson: I hope things improve over the weekend. I told people my shoulder would be fine, but you never seem to believe me. But you of all people show know by now that I am always right. ;-)
Greetings! and welcome back. :)

<big but gentle healing hug>

I believe you, that you'll be alright but I'm still going to be concerned to hear about your ills (and other's too). Most of us have injuries (or illnesses) we've accumulated over time that nag us once in awhile, so we can relate to the aches and pains of others.

Good morning!

How are you doing lately?

I've been hesitant to even use the chat system until the old messages were restored heh!

And it's all changed around now, where we have to pre-type out messages because of the chat window... :/

BillyMaysFan59: Good morning everyone.

For the most part I'm glad the old chat messages are back. Still hoping they return some functionalities from the old PM system though.
... On another subject...... COFFEE!

*serves pitcher of iced coffee and thermos of dark roast coffee*
Good morning! :)

Righto, roll with the changes... but the message / chat system ones are making me cringe a little, though at least most of the text is back for the old ones, and we can message people who are not on the "friends" lists, so it appears to be short steps of progress amidst the giant leap of changes happening.

At the very least I can still download all the games through a browser instead of Galaxy too,

and.. I'm going to have to buy a coffee maker sooner rather than later with all this coffee talk every day...

All is well here, glad to know you're doing fine too.

I'm mid way through chapter 5 of the first book,
and the party is getting acquainted with the first world encountered. :)

Good morning!

I am good, thank you. Just having a nice rest and some lunch before I get back to work.

How are you, have you had a nice day?

And have another quick fact, since you are the main one interested in my silly facts. :-)

First World War Short Fact #2:
A quick follow up to my previous fact about British soldiers and their marksmanship. During the war, the average British trained soldier could shoot (accurately and aimed, not just random shooting) 16 rounds a minute. That is less than 4 seconds to aim, shoot, and reload the breech (as the rifles were bolt-action, firing one round at a time).
I've been trying Dark Forces (played the first two levels) but I can't really get into the game. I was thinking of skipping it and starting Jedi Knight Dark Forces II. Would that be a horribly bad idea?

Good thanks. How has your day been so far?

CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

I wouldn't recommend an adept, and deckers aren't the greatest either since they focus on hacking and you can get the same utility in regards to unlocking crap and doing stuff by having the NPC decker in your party.
Street samurai and combat mages/shamans have the most options.
...
avatar
GhostwriterDoF: Aye, I usually pick the Street Samurai is the class I picked for both series as my main character. I like the close combat and switching from shotgun to sword play in the Shadow Run games.

As always, your way of describing things, especially your gaming experiences makes me laugh heartily. heh!
Street samurai are pretty much always enjoyable, and they get a lot more options in Dragonfall since you can go with the more expensive bioware rather than the cheaper but more essence-draining cyberware.
Looking forward to when the game company can make a version that's a straight port of the pen and paper Shadowrun, with all the customization that brings with it.

Just made my Icewind EE party, complete with a gnome barbarian who uses a two-handed sword named Anklebiter.
If I hadn't decided to harm myself by adding a bard, I would have gone with a female druid who shapeshifts into a werewolf.
I like the thought of the barbarian trying to hit on someone who could literally eat his face if he annoyed her.

Good morning. =)

I tend to go for chronological series runs, but in the end it comes down to your enjoyment (or level of masochism).
If it's not working, I'd say to read a plot synopsis so you're up to date on any story elements, then go on to the next.

Additional - in the first five seconds, someone's saying my half-orc is only good for farming.
If it wouldn't screw my game up from the jump, I'd be roleplaying my evil party properly and they'd be starting a bar fight right about now.

I thought there was a way to manually detect the games?

What made you think of that? Are you playing a FPS game at the moment?
