ddickinson: A lot of developers seem to treat the PC gamers poorly once they move onto the console, as there is often more money to be made on the console, which requires a more basic game, so less development is needed.
Yeah that's unfortunate but true..but then pc games should react to this in a proper manner - there are always enough developers for the pc after all

ddickinson: Are there many of your going on this trip, or is it just a small group?

Will you get in trouble for doing that?

I know of other companies that were once seen as really good and customer orientated, but they have slowly drifted away from that. I am sure you can guess which company I am referring to. ;-)

The reason I think it might not happen, is that there is no mention of any platform other than Steam. But I guess we will have to wait and see.
No,I'll explain to them that I was unnable to speak.Boss' can be an asshole but he's not a monster.
I'm sure he'll understand.

ddickinson: So, I go to look at the GOGwiki to see if there is anything from your wishlist there, and I see you have taken it down. How will we ever ninja gift you if you keep your wishlist hidden? :-)
I took it down since it can't be synced anymore... There would be one game, but the discounts are not very high for this promo, so I am not sure if I really want to buy that game here.

Morning DD and ELT, headache's better, almost gone.
Glad the shoulder's getting better DD.
*stumbles in blusteringly, slips on the carpet, soars through the air, and lands amidst you all on the table, sending tea and coffee mugs flying everywhere*

the ideal position for a massive group hug thus being achieved, pleas indulge ;) *hugs you all*

Something been goin on I should be aware of?

ddickinson: There is one game on the list that I would play, but to be honest I would prefer to play the original. I have no intention of playing the remake, as I am not a fan of the developer or the guy in charge. Other than that, a few interesting games, but nothing I really need, especially not at those prices.
If you are talking about Grim Fandango, trust me, you do not want to play the original. The controls were horrible ;-)

Morning Moon.

FearfulSymmetry: Yep, although I'll probably pretend not to be Dutch when it's time for Eurovision. :P

Haha, yes. I do have some idea of what it looks like thanks to my classes, but it's always different in real life, so I'm curious to see it.
The modern Globe Theatre is a good replication, and tried to be as true to the original as possible. I think many people expect some big stage show with lots of props and things like that. but the stage was only small, when compared to modern stages.

I am not to keen on the AAA voice actors either. For one thing, I thought big celebrities were just called A list, not AAA list. It just seems like fluff to make it sound more incredible. Also, it often becomes more about the celebrity rather than the voice acting when a company used A list celebrities.

Maybe next time do not play scary games when you have work in the morning. :-)

Can I make one request? When you go on your holiday, will you set your wishlist to public, just in case the summer sale is on while you are away. Because it would be a sad day indeed if we were unable to gift you some games. You can always set it back to private after the sale.

What game from the promo interests you?

It's good to hear that your headache is better. Hopefully it won't be long before it is all gone.

Do you have a nice day planned, anything good planned for the weekend?

It's way too dangerous to openly mention games in here, so I will not confirm or deny. :-)

But even so, as I do not like the company or the guy in charge of the new version, I do not intent to support them by buying the game. I have more than enough anyway, and the game in question is not a high priority game.

For me that sounds like another game with Nolan North or Troy Baker (or both) in it now....

Don't worry, I'm not expecting that. :) I know props weren't used much back then. Costumes were much more important and they often consisted of expensive finery donated by the rich and powerful. :P Although I have heard of some remarkable accidents that involved gunpowder.

It's just that most people today have being spoilt by TV, moves, and big budget shows. Back then things were simpler, and the plays were quite basic, allowing people to use their own imaginations, something that far too few use these days. :-)

Will be afk for the moment - mowing the lawn is due. See you all later *big hugs and waves* :)
