ZenWan: Hi Crow, good to see you. I am indeed holding fire on Galaxy, as it's still in its infancy. I have so little time for game-playing anyway. But I do prefer to have a privacy option.
Imagine if I spent all day every day playing - say - a game involving pigeons - how would I ever dare show my face here again?

laughing!

Yes, the summers here are scarily hot, although at least not humid. Most vegetation is Mediterranean, olives, carobs etc, so is not affected by the heat and dryness, but I most certainly am. Sometimes there is a cool breeze from the Atlantic, other times the hot winds blow in from Africa, or overland from Spain, and that's not pleasant. I'm seriously considering that icewater option of superstande's.

Glad you're keeping your cats, I'm sure you're greatly attached to them by now. ;-)

Oops, editing again - didn't read the last few posts properly, too busy multitasking.
You think the calor is your ally?

I was born into it, molded by it, I didn't see a cool night until October.

adaliabooks: Hey guys.

I wonder if someone might be able to provide me with a little assistance, I know one of the things a lot of people seem to be annoyed about with the new account things is that you can't get all your games on one page anymore, and the page change buttons are only at the bottom. So I thought it might be something reasonably easy to fix with a script and I'd give it a go.
Only problem is I don't have enough games in my library to have more than one page, so the navigation elements don't show up :/
So is someone willing to provide me some screenshots of what they look like, what they link to, and what their underlying source code looks like?
Also probably to test stuff if I can get anything to work..
It's not going to be the most efficient way to do it but at least it might be worth a try...
Why not get in contact with BarefootMonkey and add this to Essentials?
-------
And good morning to the Agent, lil blob and Palio.

Woot, I got to two hundred!

Yeah, it's certainly an idea. Have to see if I can do it first though.
I've been working on a forum search script too which could probably be integrated into Essentials.

PalioDeMonte: Will hold a name giving celebration for our friends' daughter tomorrow (they're not religions, so she will not be baptized, but they want to celebrate it and they want godparents for her) and I'm supposed to prepare a speach :D

On Sunday we'll go to our fitness club - doing some workout and then relaxing in the spa area :D
We have similar ceremonies in the UK, called Naming Ceremonies. They are pretty much just Christenings, but without the baptism and religious undertones.

I hope you have a nice weekend.

avatar
adaliabooks: Yeah, but unless I really want it and it's an absolute steal I find it hard to justify buying stuff right now... I still haven't touched any of the games I bough during Insomnia (largely thanks to generous gifts from people here which I played instead)
I can understand that. The problem with digital games is that people tend to collect more than they have time to play. The summer sale should be here soon, so hopefully you can get some games then at a good price.

ElTerprise: *returns hug* I'm doing good as always :) - what about you?
The usual for the weekend. I will have my second assignment on job tomorrow and will be working on stuff for university. Other than that i plan on doing a co-op gaming session with a friend of mine.

What are your plans for the weekend?
Not any big plans, I am at work on Saturday, then Sunday I am volunteering at the children's hospice. Other than that it will just be some shopping and hose work on Sunday evening.

avatar
Soccorro: I'm all fine and i'm going to visit some old friends at the soup kitchen i used to volunteer at :D
Well I hope you have a nice time visiting your old friends. How are you?

avatar
AgentBirdnest: I can help you there... Just give me a straw, and I'll drink the whole thing! :-D

Morning everyone! *hugs and helmet tips*
Hello, Agent!

Glad to hear you are doing good today. For some reason, your toaster comment reminded me of an old cartoon called the brave little toaster.

So, I go to look at the GOGwiki to see if there is anything from your wishlist there, and I see you have taken it down. How will we ever ninja gift you if you keep your wishlist hidden? :-)

I don't really remember much about the movie, but it was a nice little cartoon.

My shoulder is doing good, thank you. Still stiff and painful, but getting better.

Anything catch your eye from this weeks promo?

*more hugs*

Definitely. On the plus side, it does mean I have enough to play to hold out for really big discounts on most things, but it makes purchase guilt even worse as I have so much to play I no longer feel like I 'need' a new game...
Weekend sale is ok, a couple of games on my wishlist but they're still very expensive and not high priority so they can definitely wait.
We'll see what the Summer sale brings, just noticed D:OS is getting an enhanced edition (free upgrade for current owners, which is nice of them) so there might be some deeper discounts on that soon...
It seems the PM messages are slowly starting to get integrated into the chat system. But with the horrible way it orders the contacts, expect people you have only ever spoken to once moving people you regularly chat to to the bottom of the list, making is very difficult to chat with them.

The weekend sale is a little meh, IMO. They are good games, but with a very small discount. I do not actually own any games from the promo, which I think is the first time I have not owned at least one.

Do you know what is new in the D:OS enhanced edition? And it's great they are doing it as a free upgrade, rather than ripping off the customers again like many seem to do.

Yep, it's getting better. A few more days and it will be as good as new.

See anything you like form the weekend promo?

avatar
ElTerprise: Volunteering at the hospice is a great thing :)
It's karaoke and some Shakespeare this week, which should be fun, and the kids are looking forward to it. Hopefully I will not be too exhausted for it all after the weeks work, but I am sure it will be fine.

Anything catch your eye from the sale?

That should be new in the enhanced Edition. Local Co-op sounds interesting :)

That sounds really good - great stuff for the kids :)

Well i'm interested in some of these games on sale - several of them are on my wishlist but the discount is not big enough imho.
