Good afternoon entities.
Had a bit of a scare while playing a game, for a second I thought, blackout, then I noticed that nothing else had stopped. Which was the final push I needed to finally, once and for all, stop procrastrinating and clean up my computer.
It wasn't all THAT dusty though.
A bit of dustbunny hunting, and a couple baby wipes changing colour later. My rig is up and running again, and while I was at it I discovered something I was unaware of. The funnel on the computer case can be adjusted to move closer or farther from the CPU fan. So I turned it a couple of times and moved it closer, hopefully that'll help me shave off a degree or two.
And I was reading the front page and thought of something.
It says pre-order and preload.
So what happens if you pre-order, preload, then pull off the network cable and change your computer's date to the 18th?
EDIT: It's surprising what a bit of cleaning can do, it's still barely warm.
It's also surprising how hot things can get in a computer. After I opened the case I touched the CPU heatsink, and I couldn't keep my finger on it.
