CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)
Doing all right here, trying to chew through the last level of Icewind 2.
How's your day going so far?
Good morning, Crow! Doing all right here, trying to chew through the last level of Icewind 2.
How's your day going so far?
Glad to hear you are doing okay (or all right, but I think they are about the same). Is Icewind 2 a lot longer than the first game, as you seem to have been playing this one for a longer time?
I am good, thank you. I hurt my shoulder yesterday which was quite painful, but today it seems to be worse, and also my shoulder is quite stiff today. But it's nothing serious. Ideally I would put some ice on it and rest it, but too much work to do so it will probably take a little longer to heal.

If I read correctly, a spastic cow caused your injury. Think post-recovery barbecue. =)
I'm sorry you're hurting today, that's the last thing you needed. Will hope that you're feeling better quickly.
ddickinson: *good morning hug*
How are you today? Did you have a nice nights sleep? Is work very busy for you today?
moonshineshadow: *big return hug* I am doing ok, a lot of stuff to do today. I hope your shoulder gets better soon! How are you today? Did you have a nice nights sleep? Is work very busy for you today?
Hopefully your day is pleasantly busy, rather than the obnoxious, "make it stop already" busy.

I am glad to hear you are doing okay. I hope you have a good day at work, even though you have a lot of work to do. Thank you, I am sure in a few days my shoulder will be fine.

CarrionCrow: I don't have the time clocked, unfortunately, but I think this one is taking longer due to it having both more puzzles and more difficult fights than the first one.

The cow in question is one of the three oldest we have, and together they are virtually the matriarchs of the herd, as the others follow whatever they do. But most importantly they are my mother's pride and joy. In fact, they only listen to her, no one else. If you were to even consider the barbecue suggestion, my mother would have you skinned, gutted, and skewered on a spit before you could even go for your barbecue apron. :-)If I read correctly, a spastic cow caused your injury. What kind of silly notion is that? I don't know why you tolerate it, maybe it's time to storm parliament and replace your government. That is just so evil and twisted, I mean who the hell wants another Pirates movie? :-) in his private plane.

But seriously, I have heard that Australia is very cautious of people bringing in foreign animals and food, in order to try to limit them having an adverse effect on your eco-system.

Hello! I hope you are doing well?
While I do not agree with the euthanasia part, many countries do limit the free movement of animals, due to the possibility of things like rabies. The UK does quite a bit, but not so much with the EU (which has lead to some horrible trade in puppies and things like that, especially from regions such as Poland). It is understandable, and it does have its positive sides, even if it is not nice and often taken too far. If you know, how long does Australia quarantine animals coming through customs before they are allowed to stay? Speaking of that, did they offer him (Johnny Depp) quarantine and things, or did they just say "take them back or we kill them", with no option to get them through quarantine/customs?

gunsynd: 3 months, and yes they said send them back or they will euthanize them.
Seen it on our news coverage half an hour ago.
I can understand Policys, but this could of been handled much better..
I agree, it could have definitely been handled better. Surly the officials would know that this would not give them the best publicity. It would be one thing to say take them home because we can't allow them, but they should have left the euthanise part out of it. I guess if it was me, just a regular person, it would be fine, but knowing that he has a lot of followers and that he would go to the media, it should have been handled more carefully. Seen it on our news coverage half an hour ago.

It is Johnny Depps fault, he should have checked the laws about bringing animals in, but as you said, the Australian government did not handle it, or word it in the best of ways.
I wonder how long before the animal rights groups start to complain about all this. But to be honest, some of these animal rights groups are liars and scummy. One of them used a picture of a lamb covered in blood and implied that that is what happens when you shear a sheep. It was something to do with an anti-wool campaign. But I can tell you for a fact that unless you are completely incompetent, ill-equiped, or bloody evil, shearing a sheep causes no hard, and definitely does not result in the animal covered in blood. It is also required and vital for the well-being of the sheep. Sadly these animal rights groups love to manipulate and lie to get attention and money.
