Version 2 of my planet for Fearful. She said she wanted it to look more desolate and as though the planet is no longer inhabited. It's not perfect, and it's not quire right, but I thought I would share it. Image attached below. the original on the left, the new one on the right.

Thank you. I am not quite sure it looks right, or if the myst like effect around the dead planet is out of place. But it gives me something fun to experiment with on the evening while I wind down ready for bed. I will tweak it some more tonight. Any suggestions as to how to improve it?

Thank you, I am not sure it has the nice look yours has, but it's getting there. Originally the planet was all sand coloured, but I decided to add a bit of the blue back to imply that some water was still left, rather than a dry planet.

Thank you. It is just something fun to occupy myself with on the evenings while I chat on the forum. It was based on an idea Fearful had for a possible novel cover for her sci-fi book. But don't worry, once I have it looking better I will put you and Agent back on the picture. :-)

I really like the effect around the planet. The only i see are the sharp contrasts in space (might be some rendering issues). But i don't have much experience with such graphics softwate etc...
