Very much understandable regarding the micromanagement. Just got through doing that, and it's a combination of not at all fun and obnoxiously time consuming. Not a good mix for a person without a lot of free time on their hands.
Sorry, I missed you post earlier. The only downside with this thread is that I often accidentally miss a post, which makes me feel bad that I ignored someones message.

It's not that I don't like RPGs, it's just that they require quite a lot of time to be invested in them. I played Driftmoon recently (on Moons suggestion), and I really liked the game. It's not really a hard core RPG, just a nice light hearted one, but it was a lot of fun.
