ddickinson: Of course. What do I have to not feel good about? :-)
I have no idea :)

ElTerprise: I know that it was coming but i was surprised to see it released that early...
(Happens to me as well - also had it yesterday the entire day...)
Ok, thanks... in a way I'm glad not to be the only one... :-D haha

moonshineshadow: Yep, a camping trip along the river Donau to visit all the nice places and cities along it :D
(of course not until the end, that would take too much time, up to Budapest and then on the way back stopping a few days at Lake Balaton)
Wow... Sounds really cool :D
I hope you'll have a great weather all along... !!

I just always tend to look on the bright side of things. I am not really liking my long hours these last few weeks, but I have someone wonderful to go home to, so that kinda cancels the bad feelings I have about my long hours. There are several things going on at the moment that are not always good, but the nice things always overshadow them, so overall I am doing good. :-)

Well I had a big bout of motivation towards this attitude when I was attacked. I always had that mentality, but that whole event cleared lots of things up for me and let appreciate things a lot more (nearly dying can do that to a person).

ddickinson: I am glad that it put a smile on your face (and you are right, Agent sure does love his peanut butter). It was actually a fun little design I did for Fearful's novel front cover, but I wanted to add our lovely Owl and her batman to the image. (I made the planet from scratch, using just this texture).

You and Agent are just exploring the galaxy, on space craft that Moon was forced to design for you in your evil underground lair. She is not in the picture as she is back on Earth, at your lair, chained up and forced to work on the star harvesting machine that you will need for all those new stars. :-)

Sorry to hear you have not had a restful night. But I am glad to hear you are doing good. Are you looking forward to your long weekend? Is working going okay?

*lots and lots of hugs*
ô__ô ... your image editing skills are really stunning, DD !!!
The space crafts are really funny... so cartoonish :D
Hey... I don't chain up Moon, she works for me of her own free will !! ):-\

Yes, I'm looking forward to my long weekend :) not much planned for the moment... on wednesday evening we go to see a friend of us who gives a long comical play at the theatre (he does every year... so all his friends go to see him at least once, and usually we don't tell him which date :-p ... surprise ! but this time we had to tell him, because after we all go to a party, and stay to sleep over there...). And saturday evening I invited some family friends to dinner... apart from that, nothing special :)

ddickinson: I notice that you swear a lot more when place Icewind games. And to think you used to speak so highly about them. :-)

Is it not good that the boss is so hard, does that not make it more of a challenge? At least it is not super easy like many games now, or even worse, just a series of quick time events.
I still have a good opinion of the series, especially 2, that fight is just hard. Really, really, really, really hard.
I need to gear up everything in my party specifically and stack a couple more levels on in order to kill that thing off.
Combine that with hours of playtime using a mouse that isn't large enough for my hand, and it does get a bit frustrating, along with having become physically painful an hour or two ago.

One nice concession the designers made to the non-masochists in the crowd is that the player is given an alternate option to killing it as a way to continue the story.
Very good idea considering that even with my armor level being through the roof, it's tearing my main fighter apart in no time.

But on the bright side, the Cult of the Undead Cat now has not one, not two, but three mascots. =)

Good morning.

Can't complain here, just plugging along, kinda wishing I could make my music louder. -laughs-
And yes, friendly offers of coffee are always accepted. =)

How's your day going so far?

So far... peaceful and a bit boring working day... Working on a kind of work I've never done before, and it's a bit disconcerting... :-\

Thank you, but it's nothing special, just a few editing tricks. I liked the space crafts as well, the went great with your little Owl character. And we all know Moon is really your prisoner, she is just too scared to say so to your face, in case you throw her in the oubliette. :-)

A comedy play sounds like a lot of fun, I hope you have a really nice time. I hope you have a nice and relaxing weekend, no matter what you decide to do.

*lots more big hugs for the space traveling Owl*

It's often all the micro-managment that puts me off RPGs, handling gear and things like that. I did not mind it when I was younger, but now that I have less free time for gaming I just can't seem to motivate myself to play them. Maybe when things are a little quieter for me.

It is nice that they gave you an alternative way to kill the boss, that makes the game more enjoyable for gamers who are struggling with the original boss fight.

You did miss it. I mentioned it a while ago in the thread, but I am not sure I should again, as it just makes the place a little sad. I will if you want, but I would prefer not to make the place feel awkward.

Alright. I don't want this place to feel awkward - but it's good that you made the best out of the situation (sorry that if that sounds weird - it's difficult for to find the right words in english) :) *big hug*
