Off to work , can't purchase Black Mirror 3 and Summoner . :(

I remember this! Running up the narrow slope on the outside of the enormous building, to enter via a window yes? Wow those archers must have knocked me over the edge a dozen times! And that was AFTER using my resources to fight those little lightning drakes / demon things (they later became a bit easier). This part was a PAIN!

So I just spent a late night drinking a few beers (excellent new regional IPA, strangely dirt cheap and while not quite on par with "the best of them" certainly two heads above most!) and finishing up Jedi Knight! I'm sure I'll regret this tomorrow LOL but what a fun game to the end! Each Dark Jedi fight was challenging but entertaining with a nice satisfaction when I finally was able to beat the bastard. The levels were massive and once in a while a bit obtuse - but playing this one in the "Youtube Era" took all the frustration out of it. I could beat my head against the wall until I finally solved any dead end on my own and reap the joy of figuring it out on my own, or I could go to an online playthrough when I was close to smashing my keyboard and move along in the game - the best of both worlds!

I want to give a shout out to my personal hero for this game - someone named "LightningBoltForever" who did a "Let's Play" - he had a video for every level, complete with all secrets (I didn't avail myself of this) that made it easy for me to get through the tough spots where I would otherwise have been stuck. Much appreciated!

Gods damn it...I forgot about the hardest boss in all of Icewind 2.

I notice that you swear a lot more when place Icewind games. And to think you used to speak so highly about them. :-)

Is it not good that the boss is so hard, does that not make it more of a challenge? At least it is not super easy like many games now, or even worse, just a series of quick time events.
