It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

ElTerprise: Wow...i just read more of that guy...unbelievable...
Nah, that's a pretty common type on the Internet.

I'll miss you buddy :(
I was about to test the Share on GOGWiki option of Essentials to check if it still works.
I gave up when I saw my page there with the wooden shelves and thought to myself:
"This is probably the last time I'll see it this way... better not"

Maybe in the future we'll have some options to apply some kind of skin on our library.

Yeah i know - but they are increasing here which is unfortunate....

ElTerprise: Hello :)
How is your day?
I had a busy working day .

HypersomniacLive: ...
Just flowers and plants I'm afraid, trying to inject some sense of nature into the environment of concrete I live in.
That's understandable, sitting here amidst an "asphalt armpit" of big city life, as the sounds of the city echo
in the background...

GhostwriterDoF: .... people have been complaining about the site being antiquated for so long. the changes were inevitable...
avatar
HypersomniacLive: I should have worded that comment the other way around to make my point. GOG brings out changes they expect to be met with opposition on days they're going to have some juicy releases, to mitigate the negative reactions.

Improvements are welcome, but I do not count scrapping options and features that were useful as improvements.
You worded it right to begin with. heh! and most of us share your perspective too.
I also noticed gone are the "Days on GoG" number in our settings page...

GhostwriterDoF: As for Firefox, it could be the latest update, or my Win7 64 bit, or my version of BE plugin...
avatar
HypersomniacLive: Still odd, none of the above has received an update that would explain the partial breaking of the preview feature of BE.
Scripting issues, or changes in database formats? I can only venture to guess, since I'm not fluent in the web and browser scripting. At most these days, I might only fiddle a bit with Python for modding.
On the bright side lgogdownloader still seems to work. Not sure why it wouldn't anyway, unless GOG broke the system with the new My Account or something, but at least downloading isn't broken for me..... yet.

Did you expect anything less?

Okay...

Waht do you think about the changes to the account here?

I don't know what i expected but i hoped that we had enough of those already...

It's probably a lot of people coming here from Steam, being driven away by the new "pay for mods" feature
imposed there. heh!

They'll adjust to GoG community ways, once they get settled and listen, more than rant... ;)
I hate to be a killjoy here but I have a game related question. :-)
Anyone have any opinions on Toren?

I assume that's the same like Error 500 i get now and again.
They replaced it everyone lost their PM conversation history because of that. But they're working on it to get it back...

Yeah. We're getting a lot of Steam folk here and i really hope they'll adjust to out community ways but i'm not that optimistic about it...

The paid mods feature was removed because so many people complained.
Sorry but 'those people' are becoming the forum. :-(

Not surprised. The thousands of days one has supported GOG count for nth if one's not embracing and rejoicing with all the changes that are imposed on us.

I find it actually a bit comical how old users say "I don't like the steamification of GOG, if I wanted that I'd use Steam"; they don't seem to get that no-one (at GOG) cares if the old guard likes it or not, it's all about luring the already Steam-trained crowd to switching sides.

At the moment it shouldn't make any difference, as there's been no update to explain what you're experiencing. BE hasn't been updated, and the GOG forum hasn't been updated in ages, so this part of the BE script should work as before regardless of which button you use to post.
So when will GOG finally kill the rep system ? It's annoying as hell .
