ddickinson: But what about all of us? We would miss you if you left, would you at least stay for us? :-(
:'-( ... I dunno...
The only really "big" advantage of GOG over Steam is DRM-Free, to me. If this disappears, I don't see the point to stay.
Well... even if I don't buy anymore games, I think I couldn't help to stay a while around this thread... I would miss you all quite badly too... I have my nest here ! But if GOG appeals new customers, the people here will quickly change too... I'm not saying it won't be as good people ! But I wouldn't know them (already now, some days, the conversations are going so fast, I can't follow the pace... if you add plenty of new users... I will quickly feel totally lost :-^ ... and I follow only that thread !...) ; if I'm not a customer anymore, I wouldn't have enough time and motivation to browse all the pages of this thread, in hoping to find some of my 'old friends' news, lost in the hundreds of random messages...
I felt like "home" here ; if I don't recognize my home (lost of privacy [for example with the Chat present system], DRM's return, bigger community side effects...), I guess I'll go and build my nest in another, more quiet, free, and safer place... I was thinking to let my personnal Google email (and IM) address, to those who would be interested to keep in touch, in case I leave... (PM me... I mean, send me a message, if you're interested)... :-( ...
For the moment it's just a random though. But I'm quite afraid of the changes to come, too... I can't help it. I really don't want this place becomes like Steam, with all the marketing 'big brother' dark sides...
Morning hugs?

*extra big hug* If the worst is to happen here, we could all move somewhere else to have a quit place for us if everyone agrees. It would be easy and fast to put up a mini-forum for that.

Well it would be sad to see you go, I for one would really miss you. But I know what you mean, as the place becomes more popular this thread might become swamped and very hard to follow.

ElTerprise: Understandable but it would be very sad to lose you here :( *hug*

Out of curiosity Am i displayed as online in your chat view?
(Please see my previous message... I won't leave in secret, anyway)
(check)... Yes !
That is buggy too, I noticed sometimes people appear online and though they're not...
avatar
moonshineshadow: The new order history makes me realize that I might have a gifting addiction problem...
The number of pages for bought games is equal to the number of pages for gifts...
I did not want to know that...

[edit] Ah but I realised that the gifts also include gifts I accepted... so it is not that bad... *goes on to convince myself of this*
Running the numbers for purchases here. By the looks of it, it's going to take hours and there's going to be a very, very large number when I add it all up.
avatar
ElTerprise: *hug* How are you today?
Doing fine.

It'll take time to get used to.But I like the change but removing PM? I think that was a bad move.

I was just curious. I got a notification, saw your avatar, but there is no message. Maybe something to do with the friend invitation test we did?
