Just a little test, if I may? Can I add you as a friend, but I would like you to decline the invitation. I am curious to see if I am told you declined, and if the drop down box under your name reflects this, or if it just goes back to how it was, meaning I can send the invite again.

ddickinson: That's my point. When GOG does just turn into something similar to Steam, will they just lose their customer base, as the older customers will probably leave (as some already have, or spoken about), and as the newer ones going back to Steam once this place is full of the kind of people that make Steam so horrible. Steam has better prices, often better sales, and more choice in games, so it would seem the logical choice between to go to Steam over GOG in that situation. I guess as long as GOG games work and they offer good support and zero DRM, maybe that will be enough.
If they give up DRM-free, I give up GOG... :-(
Meh... even if Barefoot_Monkey fixes the gogwiki sync I am not going to update again

But what about all of us? We would miss you if you left, would you at least stay for us? :-(

Exactly...i pretty much abandoned Steam for a reason and i don't want to all these nice things i 'loved' about Steam here. I would add another which might help GOG. As long as they don't open the floodgates and let every tosh on GOG in addtion to working games, good support and DRM-free games it might be enough for GOG...
Ohhh... I need an "everything will be okay" hug... I don't like these new changes at all...

Morning, everyone. Hope everyone is doing well (as well as can be for a Monday, of course...)

Despite the changes to my favorite website, I'm doing pretty well today :-)

Are you planning to make your GOG wishlist public, to replace the GOGWIki wishlist?

Urgh... good question... I'll need to think about it. Not that happy about making it completely public. Since while the gogwiki is also public not many people know about it.

Hey, my lovely Agent !!
Don't worry... everything will be alright ! ):-|
**Enormous crushing comforting hug**
Some changes are good, we can't deny everything... but, yes, there are still many things to improve...
I'm glad you're going well !! :)
**Another big happy-to-see-you hug**

CarrionCrow: Bottom line, every online community has to deal with assholes, whether sooner or later. The decent people are outnumbered a hundred to one, and that's an optimistic estimate there.
Eventually, there will be enough of them that GOG will end up with full-on moderators to police it, like so many other places online have to do.
avatar
ElTerprise: Good morning :)
That's true but untily now the GOG community was one of the nicest community i knew from those i have experience with and getting it towards moderation etc...would be a real pity...
It already needs it, but GOG's holding off, even in cases where any site administrator would be banning the everloving crap out of some people.
The more people any place has, the more shitty people there will be, and the need to keep them in check will be that much larger.

Understandable but it would be very sad to lose you here :( *hug*

Out of curiosity Am i displayed as online in your chat view?
