toxicTom: Hello all! *waves from a distance*

Fever is slowly getting better, but my throat is still pretty bad. So better keep you distance.

Being sick really sucks, I didn't feel like reading, TV or the games I had installed, but yesterday finally I found a game that suited my condition pretty well: Long Live the Queen. I had never tried the game before and though I found it very interesting, my expectations weren't very high. But it came as a very nice surprise.
I play the game more as a "choose you own adventure" instead of "trying to win". Make choices, see what happens, see how different ways the princess dies :-). This way it was really a nice entertainment for me with my reduced retentiveness. Slow, no pressure, and just music -while voice-over would have been nice generally, this time I was glad the game doesn't have it. I think listening to the typical "kawaii girl" voice all the time would have given me a headache.
Hello, Tom!

I am glad to hear you are feeling better. Fingers crossed it won't be too long until you are as good as new.

moonshineshadow: Doing ok. Trying to decide what to do.
How about you?

ddickinson: What kind of things are you trying to decide between doing?

I am good, thank you. A bit tired, wet, and cold, and counting the hours until I get to go home, although it's still early, so there is a long time to go yet. I have had a really bad headache for the last few days as well, but that's just due to being so worn out. :-)

*more weekend hugs*
*big warming and energising hug*
The problem is that there is not really deciding between things. I first wanted to play Witcher 2. Which lead to me looking for the email with supposed fixes for the crash problem. Which lead to me thinking about this whole account stuff... making me angry again and not motivated anymore for Witcher... And now I am a bit at a loss what I should do...

And I also played Long Live the Queen like that, was really fun.

Well, how about you hop on a plane and then you can come help me, I have lots of things for you to do :-). But on second thought no, that would not be fair. I want you to have a nice weekend, not spend it out in the rain and cold and doing lots of hard work. You work hard enough as it is, and you deserve your weekend rest.

I know what you mean about the new account things. So much for Galaxy being totally optional and not effecting those who don't want it.

*big extra special return hug*

As I told Owl, you will be hard pressed to ever see me go below Good, no matter how bad my day might be. :-)

You know, if I could do that so easily I would :D
Because I don't mind the working hard and for me it would be a kind of holiday. I call this "Adventure Holidays". When I go off to do something I normally never do. I might be totally tired and exhausted after such things, but it is fun doing things that are not part of my normal life.
Morning people! :)

Feeling allright today, how are you?

You would regret it in the morning :-). As tired and exhausted as you might feel before you go to bed, it's the morning when you wake up and your muscles are all stiff that hits people the hardest. You get used to it after a while and it doesn't really effect you anymore, but at the beginning it's a real obstacle to overcome.

But like I said, I want you to have a nice relaxing weekend, not stuck outside in this weather. Maybe you need a nice light-hearted and silly game to take your mind of things. Something that will make you smile and be happy. :-)

*big happy hug*

Sorry to hear about your being worn out and the headache. *careful perseverance hug*.
Is there a silver lining promising rest and relaxation in sight?

Well tonight is my usual romantic Saturday evening, and tomorrow is my day off, so definitely a silver lining in sight for me today, just as long as I am not too tired to enjoy my lovely time and hopefully I won't just fall asleep when I get home. :-)

*even bigger get well soon hug*

True. That is why I try to do such things on Saturdays. So that I can have all Sunday to just be lazy and do nothing because of the muscle pain :D
*big hug* In regards of a game, I think I might go play a bit "Zelda - A Link to the Past", that always cheers me up.

Btw. I had some fun ideas for a cute little "Owls star collection plan" game :D I already stored some stuff on my laptop and installed Visionaire, since I might just go on and start piecing something together during my holdidays :D

Sound like a good plan :-)
Though I know the problem of looking forward to a nice evening and then being to tired and worn out to enjoy it. Fingers crossed everything goes well.
