CarrionCrow: I'm awake again. Yay.

Now I just need to remember what the hell I was trying to do when I abruptly fell asleep.
avatar
akhliber: Perhaps you were trying to abruptly fall asleep? If so, excellent job! ;)

Good evening!
Good evening. =)

-laughs- I never set out to desk sleep, it just happens.

Have you recovered from the combo of concert-going and an energetic puppy yet?
nearly 12AM here... better call it a night.

We shall meet again, GOGgers! *beams up*

Much the same for me. Ever since I got a fairly comfortable computer chair that leans back really far, I'll often recline a bit and listen to music or play a gamepad game on headphones, and that often leads to sneak-attack naps. I don't mind though. :)
I got a great night's sleep and just tired out the pup again, and he's fast asleep. He's teething, so I'm trying to teach him early what it's okay to bite and what it's not okay to bite. Like, say, me, all over the damn place. ;)
He's learning incredibly fast for such a young pup though... it amazes me a bit more each day.

I need to get a better chair. Course, I'll end up sleeping here even more often after I do so, I'm sure.

There are full-grown dogs here, and they have seemingly endless energy. I can just imagine how much a puppy contains.
Also, the training is a good idea. You don't want to be a human chew toy. ;)

It's kind of funny, my wife calls me "mama" now, as I'm apparently a wee bit over-protective... I didn't sleep the first four, possibly five days (bit of a blur) as he needed to go out just about every hour due to lack of bladder control, and he always wants to play when he goes outside. I dislocated my patella again on day two, which made things a bit more interesting, but it's been fantastic and more than worth the exhaustion. I'm pretty amazed with how quickly this little not-quite-six-week old creature took to house training and crate training. He still has the occasional accident in the house, but now it always happens as he's rushing for the door, so he's figured it out and is trying, which fascinates me. :)
I love puppies too ! :)

I am afraid I must officially announce that Divinity II is just way too annoying to me, just the last scene but I just wish to find a physical copy of it and burn it so better no. I give up.

I didn't complete Divinity II myself. I had a ton of fun with it, but a little over halfway through I just got caught up in too many other games and just never got back to it. I suppose I will one day, but I've heard the end of the game is disappointing.

Sounds like things should go well overall if the puppy is already trying to that degree.
They'll grow up to be a very happy, very well cared for family member with all the effort you're putting in.
I'm sorry to hear that you got injured, though.

I'm hoping he'll be both well behaved and very happy here. I'm doing lots of training with him at home, and we found a great place nearby that offers reward based, non-forceful training, both for puppies and more advanced courses for older dogs. He won't be ready for that until he's 8 weeks old, but that will be here in no time. :)

As for the injury, no worries at all... it's actually become a thing of amusement, my strange ability to injure myself in the most ridiculous of ways. A back injury opening kitty litter at a friend's house, a torn quad and fractured patella from jogging down to the mailbox, forgetting I was wearing my slippers, which had no traction in the rain, fracturing my jaw, cheek and two other places on my skull hitting a car while riding my bike (thing was, the car was parked. In my driveway.) I won't continue, but you get the idea. ;)

Oh yeah, they'll be the right age for that before you know it. A blur and a quick eyeblink and that'll be here.

Holy frigging crap. I'm glad you've learned to find the laughter in it, but damn, those are some serious injuries you're mentioning.

At the moment, having some coffee, talking a bit and being a bit annoyed that there's apparently a bug in Icewind Dale 2 that makes trolls unkillable while they're under the effect of a paralysis-level Chromatic Orb spell.
The bug must keep them at 1 hit point until the spell wears off.

Hi everyone - it's a little after 6am here, and I've been busy since 4am, my usual productive early morning hours. Of course I turn into a pumpkin at night, so it evens out. :-)

Glad you're having such fun with Sergeant Pupper, akhliber, he sounds like a great little guy. Is that still his name? Editing to say - wow, you sure are accident prone. Hope you recover very soon, until the next one!

Funny that you and superstande should post about not finishing Divinity, I just ran across this article. It seems you're not alone.

Good evening, Crow, no more digital venom, I see, you've used it all up in Icewind. How are your two dead cats progressing, good friends now, are they? Better hope they don't start reproducing in there, or your inventory will fill up even faster ;-)

ElTerprise: Good evening everyone *hugs and waves*
Yay for your second star! Well deserved. Hope you get many more. :-D

Did you also know that there will prob not be Icewind 2 enhanced because it would take an effort?

Hello! We're having a blast with him. And yep, the name stuck, though we usually just call him Sarge for short. :)
I'm indeed absurdly accident prone, but fortunately it's paired with insanely good luck, at least in regards to cheating death. Not so much with poker or something of the like, but it kicks in when it really counts. :)
