EndreWhiteMane: Ouch, that sounds like Steam way of doing backups.
Yep, huge uncompressed files. :/
avatar
j0ekerr: Wait, wait a moment, you can backup Steam games?!
Simply copy the installation folder to another location.
It "should" allow you to reinstall this via the client if your hard drive goes boom.
And no, I haven't had the occasion to test this theory yet. :-)

I think that does the same thing that I do manually, but yes, that's how it's done. :-)

It doesn't allow you to have the games on your computer, and to be able to install or play them if not via the Steam client... does it ?... (which means, if you have no internet connexion, you can't play... ?) :-|

No i don't think so. You only can use it when you restore via Steam. Only the DRM-free games on Steam are playable without Steam when you copy their installation folder :).

LaPtiteBete: Hey, my favorite Agent !! :)
Glad you're doing fantastic !! and don't suffer anymore from withdrawals... \o/
Ho... you finally launched it too !! :) well, let's try to figure out how it works...
**Big happy hug back**
Thanks :-) ... I still have a couple of small withdrawal symptoms. My ears are ringing almost constantly, and I have some twitches and shaky hands... I expect those will last a couple more weeks, but luckily they are not too bad.
Trying Galaxy now... Not impressed with anything so far... :-|
**Bigger, happier hug** ;-)

You know what we need?

For gog to increase the title char count to 42.
It's funny what can wake you up.

I was almost falling asleep, but a good strong shot of anger regarding some braindead fucks losing my Mother's Day gift in transit and I'm not only fully aware, but in a mood to hit someone with a bat.

Or she's punishing you by ignoring it - i'm also not sure if i should keep mine which i created yesterday or switching back to the one i had before (went back and forth today) :)
