Funny question, which I have no clue where to post lol, so I guess here is as good as any place (?)

GoG says it has a 30 day money back guarantee.. well I can't find anywhere to request a refund/exchange :P

In the Support section there's all sorts of things about technical issues, etc, but nothing to do with refunds.

What do I do?

ddickinson: Good morning, everyone!

I hope you are all having a great start to the day?

ddickinson: No need to thank me, I am just sorry we are not online at the same time more often. And there is definitely no need to apologise for you post. I do tend to not read back what I have missed, I am usually too tired or busy. So please do not ever thing I am deliberately just ignoring your posts, if I see them, like I did the previous one, then I will definitely try to respond.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

*more hugs*
Thank you, DD, for your kind words. Hope you woke feeling less tired and more refreshed, and that you have a wonderful rain-free day also.

Good morning, and welcome to the friendly thread.

This is a copy of Gog's post re refunds:

http://www.gog.com/support/website_help/money_back_guarantee

6. I want a refund! How do I initiate the refund procedure?
You simply need to contact our Support Team, by using the “Technical Issues with Games” form, and describing the problem as accurately as possible. We will get back to you with what we think might help fix your problem. If we can't get it working together, you will get your money back.

Hope that helps. :-)

Thanks :)
Every time I post, GOG throws me back a page, to the second-last one instead of the last. Is there a meaningful message in there somewhere?

hmmmmmmm

Note to self - get that 'm' key fixed!

vince0018: Thanks :)
You're most welcome.

I see I should not have said 'good morning', so good evening to you instead. Hope it's warming up in chilly Canada. :-)

ZenWan: Wow, a friendly Polish blue with a sense of humour - welcome to the peaceful thread. It's not very sane, but also there is a strange lack of fighting, and a lot of humour, not to mention tolerance.

Crow, the quasi-narcoleptic/insomniac who smokes, keeps a tight lid on it, by posting scary information about what he might do to anyone who steps out of line. Don't ever go near him in Icewind Dale, he's not the good kind person he pretends to be. And don't mention the word 'pigeons'.

They're everywhere, it seems, those unknown new posters, more and more threads popping up like rabbits - even strange posts here. Thinking of the old saying - but I'm not sure if its better to have them inside our tent, or out. I guess it depends on whether they're the enemy or not ;-)

Just downloaded Galaxy beta, haven't restarted my computer yet. I'm curious to see how it works, although I'm sure I'll know all about it when Crow has finished his 'stress-testing'.
As I mostly post in the graveyard shift, and I'm a solitary gamer, I don't think I'll have the friendship problems that you and Moon are having. ;-)

I wish you a sane and relatively stress-free day.

Hi to everyone else who's up and reading this, may the coming day bring you at least one happy smile. :-D
Gotta say, I love that impromptu description of me. -laughing hard-

To be honest, though, I'm only a really horrible person in Icewind part of the time.
Already played both in the series as the good guy, so I need more motivation to go through them again before sending them to the dead games pile.

There'll definitely be more people coming to the forums. A company being willing to set up its own client when so many people are used to only having one option is pretty huge, thinking it's going to generate a lot of exposure for GOG.

My first impressions of Galaxy are good. I'm already liking the friend list, the ability to chat with people instead of having messages that could have a really bad delay time.
Some features aren't up and running yet, but that's to be expected since the beta just started.

Don't worry about the friend list thing. I mentioned my approach before, I think it works well.
If someone I know here wants to add me? Great. Otherwise, I'm not going to send out invites to people.

But enough of my blabbing. How are you doing today?

Laughing!

I would never - could never - have dreamed that one up, it was Crow in his own words...

I'll see how it goes with Galaxy when I have time to restart and check it out. Not much time for that at present, but it's not going anywhere.

I'll take your word for it about Iceland - but I'll still be wary of getting too close to you if I have a fish in my hand. Haven't played the game, but I think that came up with the poor little starving child?. ;-D

Yikes, that sounds a little chilly.

I'll take your snowfall, and raise you the weather here in the Algarve yesterday - taken on the nearby boardwalk along the cliff edge..

Got to run, it's getting late for me, lots to do today.

Take care, everyone, beware of strange friends bearing gifts....

True, Galaxy is here to stay, so anyone who's interested will end up having time to give it a try.

That thing with the fish was only part of it. In between enabling heavy alcoholism and making someone believe that they needed to give me all their possessions and then run off into the wilderness, the fish theft seems kinda minor. -laughs-

Would say the nastiest thing that happened recently was tricking a dying man into thinking he was drinking a healing potion.
It wasn't. He kinda blew up after drinking it.

But, on the lighter side of things, I found a friend for my dead cat mascot to play with. They're so alike, they might as well be twins. (Probably because the designers used the same picture, description and weight, but it's still cute.)
I think they're going to be the very best of friends, playing together as I lug them both around in my backpack.

Have a good day, talk with you later on. =)

well look what we have here
Hey, folks! Wired after a great concert (and first show I've been to in quite some time... there aren't many bands I'll get off my lazy, half broken arse to go see these days) and watching the new pup sleep. I have a feeling I'll finally tire out about the time he wakes up and wants to run around the yard and chew the hell out of everything he can before falling out again. I adore this tiny little guy.

I hope all are well! I'd say coffee's on me, but my coffee maker broke today. The good news is, though it's been over 18 hours since it broke, I'm not even in jail yet. ;)

;) I hope you're well!

Three in the morning? Urgh.

I am doing ok, how about you aside from lack of coffee?

Doing great. Great concert followed by tiring out the new pup outside, and now I'm half asleep, half in a frenzy. I'll go several minutes without blinking and then nod off for a split second, then repeat the process. :)
