New surprises? You mean stuff like ghost notifications and error 500 like we got yesterday? :P
Actually I was hoping for games, but we take what we can get. :-)

Not sure I qualify as a 'gent' but I'm OK.
How your day so far?

Oh games! How could I forget that this site is supposed to be about games. Yes, new games would be nice ;-)

I'm quite fine thank you ;)

Respighi is blasting away in the background, The cat is snoozing next to me, and I'm trying to get Empire Earth to run.

I'm also anxious to get a (board) game of twilight imperium or civilization squeezed in one of these weeks, but my friends are, just as I am, rather occupied with other doings.

And this very week while sitting on the bus, I noticed a girl who was in the psychiatric treatment center with me for many months a few years ago. I'm rather certain we both took notice of it, but I'm certainly not going to bring it up on the bus, and I have a hunch she'd also rather let it go (like me). Quite a shock though when I first noticed :/ .

But I'm doddling like a fool (is that even an English word?), how are you all doing? :)

Good morning. =)

Can't complain here. Tricked a dying man into drinking a potion that caused them to explode all over the countryside by telling them it was a healing item and murdered a village full of people after they gave me safe passage.
Productive game session, all in all. -laughs-

Not sure on this one. With GOG it's always hard to tell, but the only known game release for today was delayed by a week. Mentioned this in the "Where's Thursday's game" thread, there might not be anything else happening.

You'd do better in those games if you'd stop being so darn nice. :-)
Have to wait and see on releases. Like I really need more anyway. :-)

Does anyone present know wether we might see the myth games on GOG sometimes?

I'm trying, but I can only pick the dialogue options they give to me. ;)

A good-sized sale would be preferable to a single title release. Just not wanting to get my hopes up.

Good afternoon. =)

It might be possible, but with some older games the legalities involved are a total mess to resolve.
I've never heard it mentioned as a virtual impossibility like I have with items like Mechwarrior, so they might end up here.

Good day.

You know that claim that after-shave lotions make of calming the irritation and itchiness from shaving?

Complete bullshit!

More like, since they itch and sting so much worse than the shave itself you don't notice that anymore.

Change a small pain for a big one.

Welp, my impressions of the client at this moment is: Calibre with a chat program stapled on top.

Feels very basic, very barebones and lacking all of the snooping we've come to expect from the other client.
Hmm. Star Trek games here at last. Interesting.

Two of them are the very best that exist too.
I'm not a Star Wars junkie but I am a trekkie. :-)

More Star stuff, even if it is a different sort ;-)

Nerd! :-)

Only joking. *big hug*

Which two are the best that exist? I have only played one of them, but I am not really that big a fan of Star Trek or Star Wars. But at least there are more women in Star Trek. Star Wars is a bit of a sausage fest. :-)

Also, hello again, everyone!

25th and Rites are the best, Academy is just OK.

So it appears I have only played the okay one. One of my brothers used to have it, on about 7 discs, I think. I did not really know anything about Star Trek, but we used to play the game together and it was quite fun.

How are the two adventure games, would you say you have to know about Star Trek to enjoy them?
