moonshineshadow: *big return hug* No need to worry. For one thing I don't get offended easily and when it is about politics I only get offended if people are not able to accept that others might have different opinions ;-)
But you are right, in general the talk about politics tends to hurt many feelings.
I am curious to see how your elections will turn out. And will maintain the small hope that somehow the EU concept will be handled great in the future :D
I completely agree, I have no problem with people having other ideas or disaggregating with mine, we all have our own opinions and it's silly to refuse to acknowledge others.
it is not that the UK is against the idea of the EU, its just that as I said, we are treated very poorly, made to be the outcast nation in the EU, made out to be trouble causers, when all we are doing is trying to look after our interests, we have little authority, we have laws forced on us that damage us, and often undermine better laws we already had in place. If the EU would just be open to some individuality, and to actually being a democracy power and treating every nation fairly (an not have these little corrupt group of nations dominating everything with underhanded deals), the it would be good. But sadly I think the corruption is to set in for it to change. Maybe if England left, this would case enough of a ripple to force the EU to change for the better. But who knows. I do not see the EU lasting much longer if changes are not made, it's not just the UK who are getting tired of the EU, discontent is growing in every nation of the EU.
But enough of politics, let's talk about something more cheery and happier than politics. Did you say you wanted me to tell you how to bleed an animal before you slaughter it? :-)
