Not a lot this week, but we've got a very busy few weeks at the end of the month (non stop events, plus going away to see the Foo Fighters in for a couple of days in the middle of it all) that is going to be manic. So we've got to get ourselves ready and stockpile stuff.

Galaxy has updated to Beta... not much different yet, just got the added social stuff (not that I'm any more interested in that then you guys are)

if they don't matter, then why offer them? :-)

Glad to hear you are going to be having some fun seeing the Foo Fighters. I hope the weather will get better for you when you have to work.

It does seem that the regulars on the thread are very anti-social when it comes to the social stuff on Galaxy, which is strange when you consider how friendly this place is. :-)

What an afternoon. Was just coming home from a tax office, lady there told me to turn my side job's tax percent from 40 to zero for the rest of the year. So I was like, oh, okay, that's alright, better it's going in that direction.
Happily whistling going home riding a bicycle, this oncoming car hit a gigantic puddle of dirt water, which homed directly at and through me. So there ended my whistling :)

I think it is more like, that no one really sees why we would need it. We have this thread here :-)
For me personally the only interesting thing about galaxy would be if we here decide to play some multiplayer game just for fun.

I guess it is fun to get something... even if it doesn't mean anything :-)

It is a bit strange that so few of us care about the social stuff... It is the Conversational thread, after all... I'll just stick with my usual explanation : "This thread is magic" :-)

Yeah, but also what use is a friend list and a chat if half of us can not be there because of for example not being able to run the client at work. So this thread is much better.

Not sure, I just installed the client quickly at work during lunch break to check this notification stuff, after that I uninstalled it again, so I'll have to check again this evening. But I have another notification, but perhaps it is only a bug... one never knows with the gog website ;-)

I hope this whole invite thing does not cause any of the petty arguing people have on Facebook if someone does not add someone else. I can imagine someone inviting someone else and getting upset if they do not agree, because the person might find it silly and pointless so not bother accepting.

I had some mysterious notification here in the forum, leading nowhere. And when I started the client next to my avatar was a "1" and when I clicked on it, it said "Friend request"
