Greetings everyone, hope you've all been doing well.

I'm too tired to look for a "Good Tuesday" pic, so I'll give you a couple of photos I took earlier today.

@ElTerprise
Good to hear your uncle is doing better, and going home.

adaliabooks: Well, if I ever finish any of the game's I work on you guys will all be in there somewhere ;)

After you all rigorously test them for me of course... <_< >_>

ElTerprise: Hmm would second that - if - i get something to wrk with the Adventure Game Studio. I started reading a bit about it :)

Good evening. Yup. Doing great - apart from being tired how are you?

And awesome photos :)

Yeah. I have some ideads for it but i'm stil in the i-think-i-can-make-a-game-if-get-used-to-this-framework/engine-and-learn-more-about-scripting-phase :)

Have you done anything similar before or is this you dipping your toe in? :)

And to be honest, I've been doing it on and off for years (I think I made my first real start on a game when I was 12 or 13) and I'd say I'm still in that phase too XD

It is a bit more easy for me since it is "only" a game for my mum. I actually am on colouring the last objects and then I "just" need to put everything together and implement all the scripting :D

Well i did some programming with BASIC (!) and HTML in school but nothing more, aside from some modding for CK2. So i'm actually dipping my toe in. I don't have a schedule on that one but i stumbled over the AGS so i thought it might be possible to create some basic adventure with it (i have enough ideas for a noir(ish) sci-fi setting)...

But it's still great when you actually create a game :D

I'll be glad to help with the game testing, and offer feedback and ideas, even before any of them are finished. :)
I think at this time of the day I answered every variation of "where is my galaxy beta", that I should be able to answer everything by just copying myself :D

Greetings Moonshine! :)

<big Moonbeam welcome hug>

I'll have to check Visionaire out, never heard of it before.

I have a raw game engine, I got it years ago with a license to develop using it, but always got distracted for doing much with it. Conitec Game Studio, I think it is. One of those things that got low priority next to my modding of existing games,
and my writing. ;)

Visionaire is intended for Adventure games. I had a look at it and tried the demo and I could work with it quite well :-)

I might just take you up on that... you mentioned before that you know some sword fighting and stuff, my current work in progress idea is a roguelike that will hopefully have a more complicated and in depth combat system, based on some realistic concepts like stances etc.
So while I've done some research on stuff like this in the past (for writing) and have a variety of sources saved, when it comes down to implementing it it would be nice to have someone who knew what they were talking about to advise...

That would be a bad idea. Since from the additional money I would buy probably more games and I already own enough for a lifetime :D
