I figured if I was going to get the games, it might as well be today, though Billy put the notion in my noggin. :D

I read about your brother playing around and getting injured, leaving more work for the rest of you, glad that he is alright. I didn't know you can patch up the injuries, a good skill to have around the Farm.
I am probably not the best at stitching up a wound anymore, as it has been a while since I last needed to, but I know the basics from a very interesting medical course I took while at university.

Do you have anything fun planned for the day?

ddickinson: One of my brothers had a fall this morning and ended up cutting his arm open, deep enough to see the bone. I patched him up (after teasing him for being a big baby :-)) and he and one of my other brothers have gone to hospital to get it looked at. It's nothing too serious, and he will be fine, but if he is unable to use his arm for a while then that will mean more work for us to cover and also as we are now two down today, that means some more work for today as well. I don't mind, it was just an accident and can't be helped, but I was hoping this would have been my last long week for a while.
Haven't seen that earlier.
Sorry about your brother but good to hear that it's not too serious...

Thank you. It has been sorted and all stitched up now. They think it will just be a week or so before he can use it properly, but he has to see how it goes, in case he rips open the stitches.
