So you intend to play all the TES one after another? Because you said you played Arena and now Daggerfall.

More or less but since I excomugated Steam,I won't be able to play the newer games.

Only Skyrim. Morrowind and Oblivion have Steam-less versions or do you only have them on Steam?

Well, that's a start :)

Not yet, played a little bit of Rebellion as it's easier to play in bite-sized chunks (not least as I need to plug a mouse and headphones into my laptop to play Jedi Knight), but I'll probably pick it up again later.

It's good fun, takes a bit of getting into and you definitely need to read the manual if you want to have any chance of knowing what's going on.
I'd say more 4x than strategy, it reminds me a bit of CK2 (which as I remember, you have spent a considerable amount of time with, so you'd probably like it) but on a bit more basic scale.
It's quite slow; waiting for fleets and troops to build, waiting for new facilities to build or arrive at their destination, waiting for missions to complete, basically a lot of waiting ;)

Yeah i spent arounf 500 hours in CK2. That sounds very interesting that it reminds you a bit of CK2. Well i have no problems with slower paced games (The Paradox Games generally are slower paced) but waiting...

Where can I get the Steamless version of Morrowind and Oblivion?

Well, I say waiting. I tend to just bump the speed up to fast until I get a notification or two of something interesting happening, slow it down again to deal with them, and then bump the speed up till the next thing happens.
But building things, travelling between sectors and other actions take time. It's measured in days (which are kind of like a turn, something finishes or happens pretty much every day or other day for me) and it can take 100 days to build a capital ship or travel to a far away sector.

But having never really played a 4x game other than Civilisation until I played CK2 I can definitely see that this is the kind of thing Paradox's games evolved from.
