Can't judge the game as i haven't played it.

I'm replaying all of the games and halfway through those NOD missions I went on to RA 1. I figure I beat 95 once, why put myself through that again.

And RA 2 isn't that hard but I can't stand being told how fucking slow I was at the end of every mission! :P

I can't say I'm familiar with the Oddworld series. After that remake came out though, I considered checking it out.

Same here and Stranger's Wrath looks also interesting :).

Heh! Ah yes, even still with the easiest setting It took me weeks to get through RA 1,
and I barely got through 1/3 of C&C 95 before dropping it for Generals and Zero Hour. :D

Oh I know, they wanted to pose a challenge to players, as if the original games weren't hard enough...

Get the remake! it's a perfect introduction to a well-known and loved indie series. I also suggest that you and EITerprise get strangers wrath, because its also fantastic.

Well, I think I've figured out why Trials was such a slog.
Considering that Trials was pretty hard and Heart of Winter is feeling surprisingly easy, the thought is that I did the expansions in the wrong frigging order. -shakes head-

Should've known with the chamber that had not one, or two, but four beholders in it. Hate those so much...

And welcome back... Yes but your masterful use of your Party and their skills boldly took you through the expansion.

I don't think you can do them out of any order though...

Masterful? More like I know how to lame it out, being as cheap and cheesy as possible so I could actually get through the fights. -laughing hard-

You can load up the expansions much earlier than it's a good idea to do them.
Heart of Winter can be accessed at level 9, but you'll probably get slaughtered by packs of fast-moving undead if you do.
Once you load up Heart of Winter, you can go from there to Trials any time, I think. But again, it's not a great idea if your levels aren't high, since you can't get back out of that one until you finish it.
