moonshineshadow: That sounds cute. Lets make the little heart beat a bit more :D

EndreWhiteMane: AND, there's no right mouse button function in the client either.
It blinked real pretty though. :-)
Urgh... I just started the client because I wanted to check out this cute function. And what does it do? Starting to autoupdate some games it recognized, creating folders where I did not want them etc... It makes me want to close the client instantly.

ElTerprise: Exactly. That 's the point i find unacceptable spending addtional money on a full price release. But it seems people are using that system which is really disappointing as it encourages other Developers/Publishers to do the same...
Which again goes back to the whole voting with your wallet. If gamers did not pay for it, the developers would stop doing it pretty quick. Just think if the majority of gamers decided to protest and stop buying games until things like DRM, poor DLC, micro-transactions, and other bad practices were fixed. Once the money stopped rolling in, the publishers and developers would actually be forced to make games that work, that are enjoyable, and that are what the customers want. It would not take too long, just a few months and we could be back to the good old days of gaming, but such a protest would not likely happen.

ddickinson: What I don't get is games that charge full price, but then have micro-transactions for vital game elements. Cosmetic things are fine, I have no real problem with that, but too many seem to be making the games impossible to play unless you pay more and more.

EndreWhiteMane: Scared me, labor day isn't till September here. ;)
avatar
ElTerprise: Already have Labour Day - or May Day or International Workers' Day - here :P
We have Memorial day in May and Labor day in September.
They pretty much mark the beginning and end of summer party season. (loads of beer on each) :-)

Not really - which is really sad - but it's the same case with many other important issues in Europe or the world. The people just stay silent...

Well I had better call it a night. I have to be up at 4am for another long day, so I better get some sleep.

I hope you all enjoy what is left of your evening.

*goodnight hugs and silly waves*
