ddickinson: The first game is probably my favourite of the whole series. Are you planning on playing the original, or the remastered version?

That's true. But you never know when he could just turn up. :-)

*Quickly looks around*

*Risks another big muddy hug*

How was your day at work? Do you have a nice relaxing evening planned?

I am sure they will answer when they get around to it. With all the sales, new releases, and the current Star Wars promo, I bet they are swamped with support requests.

*random hug*
Are you and moon playing in the mud? Interesting...

moonshineshadow: *even muddier hug*
My day at work was normal. Nothing special. Simulating and preparing a paper. Nothing planned for the evening. And you?
I am not sure if I am more dirty now than I was before all this muddy hugging. Oh well. *more mud hugs* :-)

I am at work until about 9pm again tonight, so just a very short evening for me. I will most likely have a quick nice hot bath, something to eat, then spend way too little time with my partner before it's time to go to sleep ready for another long day in the morning. :-(

Do you think it will be an evening of games or books for you?

I was planning on playing the remastered one, but I'm open to advice. :)

Nope, so you can get those silly ideas out of your mind. I am wet from all the rain we have been getting today, and also covered in mud, so when I hug people they end up getting covered in mud.

Not sure. The old problem of needing to decide on something :D
*mud hug* I hope you can return to your normal working hours soon.

There is no real difference between them, at least not that I can remember. I know that you can not die in the remastered version, and there are some extra scenes. It has a different opening section, where you play as the Nicole for a while. The problem many had with this is that the original opening scene in front of the cafe was iconic for the game. I found that often the Nicole parts took you away from the story somewhat. I would maybe suggest playing the original, if you don't mind the dated graphics. If you prefer the nice shiny remake and the extra few scenes, then play the remastered version, as both are good games.

I really need to get my mind out of the gutter :-D
But now I'm imagining you all coverade in mud. DOes your armor get rusty and difficult to walk?

Yes, choosing a game to play in the first place is often a challenge in itself. :-)

Just a few more weeks and my hours should be a little more normal for me. It's not too bad, it's harder for my brothers as they have their own family at home and their own kids that they miss while they are working late. I tend to try to cover as much as I can on the evening, so that they can go home a little earlier and spend some time with their kids before they go to bed.

Hm, sounds like a tough choice. I think I'll start with the remastered one, but I think I'll need to play the original at some point too. :)

Nope, Power Armour can survive all environments. It would do us little good if the armour just rusted and became inoperable just because of some water or mud. They are sealed units, which is why they can be used in the void of space. So things like rust would never be an issue for the armour, due to the materials it is made from. :-)

That sounds good. I found the remastered one good, but as I played the original first, I think I tend to favour it more, especially as I notice the few things that are missing or different. Hopefully you will have a lot of fun in Paris. :-)

Thank you! :) You have a good evening when you get off work too! And yes, I think we always tend to love what we played first the most. :)

I tend to prefer the 90s adventure games more overall anyway. They just seemed to have so much more to them when compared to the amount of shorter, dumbed down adventure games we get these days. Too much of it now is about graphics, and they just end up becoming visual novels with very little interaction and spoon fed puzzles. I prefer a nice challenging game, and one that actually has some decent interaction.

Enjoy your evening, and have fun with whatever game you decide to play.

*big hug*

Well I had better get back to work. I hope you all have a wonderful evening, filled with lots of relaxation and hopefully some fun games.

Take care, and try to behave! :-)

*Big muddy hugs and some silly waves*

Sorry to hear you have been under the weather, and that things in the real world removed your lovely smile. But I am glad to hear you are on the mend, and that things are possibly rectified now. Hopefully we will see much more of that big smile of yours.

How about a cold, wet, muddy hug? :-)
*puts on throw away suit, just to be on the safe side, and takes a few steps back*

Hi DD, thanks for the kind words.

Something that happened this past Friday afternoon created a situation that got me like , but since Monday evening I'm more like [url=http://cdn-media.ellentv.com/2015/03/12/doggy6-1362x1002.jpg]this as it's still a long way to go, and I'll be damned if I let things keep me down for that long. :-)

I assume that you're quite well yourself? How's your mother doing?
Good evening everybody *hugs and waves*

Was without internet all day in the office...
