CarrionCrow: Just got through making lopsided omelets here. Made one for someone else, tried to make it nice, then made one for myself, it fell apart and I just stood there telling it, "Look, I already tried to make a nice one, I don't give a shit how torn up you are, I'm still eating you."
Rogue Legacy's fun, even though it kicks my ass when I play it. I like the idea of an entire screwed up bloodline sending every single descendant, no matter how young, old, deranged or infirm, to be murdered by traps and monsters. =)
That sounds about right with omelettes... it's pretty much down to luck whether they hold together or not..

It is hard as nails, but I'm getting better at it (apart from some rooms which are just unfair). I think it's all the things to collect and unlock that appeal. I like scouring the castle for gold to buy new improvements. I also like the variety with the random characters, makes each run a bit different.

adaliabooks: Lol. They're grunts, let them burn. It's what they're for ;)

My day's been fine, not done too much. A bit of shopping earlier to keep the kitchen stocked and now just playing Rogue Legacy again. Fiendishly addictive game. Might do a bit of programming in a bit (if I don't get too sidetracked that is)

You know too much, look over here.
Right now, the Sisters of Battle are nothing but splattered corpses after I led them into that Ork stronghold.
Make me spent points on armor upgrades, and they still run into battle with decorative toilet paper to protect themselves.
Only good thing about them is that they start the game with the best faction ability, the one that you want for every boss fight.
Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone !!
Hope your sunday is/was good !

I never played any of the expansions past the one with the Imperial Guard, they are god awful. Never saw the point in playing as them (other than the basillisks which are cool).

Eldar were my favourites. Just cause I loved the cloaking and way gates, my tactic was to try and sneak a builder into the enemy base and build a waygate thing, cloak it and amass an army before teleporting them behind enemy lines.

Or failing that just play as space marines and drop ship dreadnaughts all over your opponents.. :D

Good evening. =)
Sounds like you've got fun stuff set up, that's always good.
Planning on doing more Soulstorm here while Red Dwarf or Luther run on the side in my Netflix. Yay multitasking. ;)

Unless Soulstorm crashes like it knows this is my final run with it EVER, so it's decided to torture me further to break my will.

Stupid frigging godsdamned 75 minute boss fights....who in the holy hell thought that would be a good idea!?!?!
Yeah I am home! Two weeks with my parents were nice but now I am quite happy to be home again :D

EndreWhiteMane: "My brother in law married into a whole lot of money." That would imply your sister has a whole lot of money. Does she share with you? :-)
Afternoon gunsynd. ;)

hummer010: It's my wife's brother who married into money. Wouldn't he be my brother in law?

There's no place like home..

Well, it sounds like you not only had a really good time, but it helped you appreciate home that much more to boot, and not in a "dear gods am I glad to be back, because those people suck" sort of way, but from a positive perspective.
That's a win/win. =)

I can't throw it out the window. I need to beat it. The last one in the series was the same way. Played through it all 7 ways, beat everything, have not felt a single urge for even a second to load it up and play it again.
I want that same feeling for this one.

Yep :-)
One of the good things at home: My own computer that I do not need to share :D I just started downloading all the games I got around Christmas time. This will take a while ;-)

-laughs- I always download items as I grab them. Takes up a LOT of hard drive space, but it stretches out the downloading a bit.
How many items do you have to grab, overall?

Certain games, I can't just beat them once and leave them alone. So I have to beat them thoroughly.
Dear gods....7th Saga has seven characters, and I think, seven different endings.
That's going to make Soulstorm feel downright pleasant by comparison.
