CarrionCrow: -laughs- Well, I've always heard it's important to have goals in life....
On the upside, though, if you were able to achieve that goal, it probably meant you were either extremely ill or eating something that your body is straight-up rejecting.
Also, I get exactly what you mean regarding net usage.
Some people around me just aren't like that, at ALL, to the point that their first impulse is to go for a phonebook or atlas for information, at which point I'm like, "I could totally check that for you in about eight seconds. Seriously. Eight seconds, that's all it takes, and I can pretty much find ANYTHING you might be looking for."
Good morning to you as well. =)
I can easily picture those people. I know some like them, the kind who find it strange that the phone no longer clicks through each number as they dial.

j0ekerr: Good afternoon everyone, seems like I've missed quite a few pages. Anything I should know?

Welcome back Stilton we've missed your presence, without our goði around we almost turned to false gods, and forsook the Allfather from our prayers.

I see you acknowledge the fact that Christmas isn't officially over just yet, even if it looks like it pretty much is.

Not here though. Epiphany is kind of a very big deal.
Interesting that you mention the 'isn't officially over yet' bit, as it is permissible to let the festivities continue until February 1st, which is Candlemas Eve, if your stomach can take the overload. Better if you Goggle or even Google that rather than me trying to explain it (myself and theology parted company about the same time as my dad and his semen whilst in the making of me and I've had no interest in it since). But if it means the fun can continue, I'll go for it!

You gunna do a review of that game you were playing yesterday??
The one you rented.

CarrionCrow: Also, it probably says something about me that with the entire story you told, and told well, that my first thought was, "I get the whole feeling weird about kissing Gene Kelly thing, but I don't even know where they're buried to do it...."
Grave kissing... not as weird as it sounds, particularly if you're Rudolph Valentino, who's probably had more intimate encounters since he died than in the years he was alive.

The weirdness factor might depend more on what you're wearing at the time. I'll leave your imagination to work on that one, as, knowing you as I do, something both surreal and strangely relevant is more than likely to be unearthed ;-)
You know what I said about epiphany and christmas not being over?

It means I have to suffer through the worst kind of sacharine ladden, cheap, infantile, sentimental tripe on TV and radio, aimed at children and their bleeding "big day".

You could say: "but crazy murderizing bunny, you can always switch off the TV, or hunt down and kill the TV executives and producers."

Unfotunately I can't, I share lodgings with someone who insists on watching the worst kind of rubbish ever made to be broadcast over television. Not only the kind of simplistic cliché-ladden spoon fed entertainment that only appeals to people who can remember a time before indoor plumbing was a common thing. But also a daily 4 hour long programme about trash-talking Z-list celebrities, whose mere existence is an embarrassment.

And my luger is going under maintenance and my knives were confiscated.

Good you're mentioning it. I know some orthodox Christians who're waiting for it, although January 6th (Catholic and Lutheran Epiphany of the Lord) is generally not that big in Germany and mostly dedicated to the visit of the Three Kings. Especially in the Catholic regions Star Singers are going from home to home, dressed as the Three Wise Men and bless the houses by marking the door with chalk. They write the current year and the first letter of Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar.

Use a stick or a brick or a piece of 4 by 2 or a car or a TV...:-)

Stilton: Hi people - remember me?

adaliabooks: Hey Stilton! Welcome back :)

Hope the holidays treated you well, sounds like you've had a good time (apart form putting up with rubbish telly, but I think we've all had to do that)

How's everyone else doing?
Can't complain here. It's cold, my fingers don't really want to work to do this whole typing thing, and I pissed away 30 minutes of game progress due to impatiently trying to run troops who are kinda pathetic through a barricade full of guns and explosives, but still.....
I don't like them to begin with, so my brain just keeps saying they all got what they deserved for sucking so much.

How's your day been going?

Figure I'll do a write-up for it as I complete playthroughs and post them on Moonshineshadow's thread.
Have to beat the whole thing nine times, so if someone's looking for me losing my godsdamned mind, it should be getting pretty heavy by run 4 and by 7 or 8 I'll just be screaming. -laughs-

Lol. They're grunts, let them burn. It's what they're for ;)

My day's been fine, not done too much. A bit of shopping earlier to keep the kitchen stocked and now just playing Rogue Legacy again. Fiendishly addictive game. Might do a bit of programming in a bit (if I don't get too sidetracked that is)

If I'm setting out for a lovely evening with some interred soul, I'm going all out.
Koala bear suit, bow tie, bottle of liquor and a shovel. ;)

Just got through making lopsided omelets here. Made one for someone else, tried to make it nice, then made one for myself, it fell apart and I just stood there telling it, "Look, I already tried to make a nice one, I don't give a shit how torn up you are, I'm still eating you."
Rogue Legacy's fun, even though it kicks my ass when I play it. I like the idea of an entire screwed up bloodline sending every single descendant, no matter how young, old, deranged or infirm, to be murdered by traps and monsters. =)

Imperial Guard is nothing more than cannon fodder.

Their only tactic is... stall the opposing army by making guardsmen block the bolter muzzles with their faces, until the basillisks can do the actual work.

Sisters of battle are fetish fuel.

Slaaneshii daemonettes are... something best not mentioned, or discussed or kept chained in a closet which needs to be cleaned twice a week, but it's sooooo worth it an...

You know too much, look over here.
