It is just a shame that EA decided to ruin things. Ever since Generals, the series has just never being the same. There is a nice patch online for letting you change the resolution of the first game. I played it a few months ago and it is still quite fun, despite it's age.

akhliber: Understood. I'm the same way, actually. I always feel guilty and like the gift given could have gone to someone more deserving. It's easy to see others as deserving of being showered with kindness, but when it's directed at me, I'm always confused and trying to figure out why. ;)
That sounds familiar. Luckily I do not have a big wishlist, so even if I keep it on, a few good sales and I will have bought what is on there, and then people will be unable to gift me. :-)

You may agree without feeling greedy. You, along with some others, have cheered my up on my grey days more than once since I found this forum last month. You may hide your wishlist, but I already know what I will gift you when it arrives on sale - I regret that I have to wait for one. Hope I won't be ninja'd on that :D

CNCnet is great for playing online.
Right now I'm installing Tiberian Sun and downloading Battlefront 2,thanks again!

Yeesh, I keep telling myself I'm going to get back to building this shelving, but I just don't wanna. I kind of want to sit here with music and drink coffee all day. I have to start fasting at midnight for a medical test tomorrow, so I may just focus on enjoying as much coffee (and strawberry smoothies) as I can. Holy crap, I'm a lazy fool. ;)

That's very sweet of you to say. I don't do anything special, and you should not feel the need to gift me anything. Knowing that I have helped to cheer you up is all that I need.

So I guess you are a Sith? After all, a Jedi would surly not attack a lady?

Also, next time use an official lightaber, those cheap Chinese copies can't even cut through butter, let along a person. :-)

FearfulSymmetry: That's good to hear, I'm glad you had a nice time. :) My weekend was good as well. I went to a fantasy fair with my sister and a friend, which was fun, although the weather was unfortunately quite bad, so we didn't stay very long.

How are your contact lenses, did you manage to get some new ones that are not causing you problems?
Yep, I love dressing up! I wore a long black skirt and a black military style corset, and it turned out really great! And yes, I always enjoy those fairs and I inevitably end up buying loads of nice things. :)

I went to get the lens checked and I can exchange it for a new, different one this friday.

Is not as memorable as Tiberian Wars or RA2 but come on,James Earl Jones Michael Biehn are in there!

I am the Uprepping Jedi! You do realize that +1 lightsabers aren't supposed to cut through anything, right? :D

Who doesn't like dressing up, especially in period/fantasy clothing. Do you go to such things often?

I hope your new lenses will work out a lot better for you.

Gifting is about cheering up myself, I'm extremely selfish when it comes to that :) That's why I'm hosting giveaways.
But there is one particular game that means very much to me on more than one wishlist - as soon as I can afford to gift it to all of you, I will do it. Just for my own nostalgia.
