The banner for the Saber Bundle now says 8 games instead of 10 but there's still 10 to buy.
What's up widdat?

GhostwriterDoF: Aye, I read about your internet issues, hope that gets sorted out for you as quickly as possible.
I am in my early morning mode, coffee-less though a cup sounds good about now. Although..
I haven’t had any coffee in months. heh!

and...

Star Wars Bundles! (with some new releases...)
I couldn't survive without coffee ;).

I was told that the issues have been sorted out :):

What's up widdat?
It says 8 games 75% off and Jedi Knight 2+ 3 are only 20 % off i guess :).

Alright. Time for me to return home. See you all later - probably in an hour :)
*hugs and waves*

j0ekerr: Sorry to burst your bubble but...
I should have know. The internet has made it nearly impossible to make up words now. :-)

j0ekerr: Quick! She showed an opening! Ninja gift her!
Erm, no. The reason I only own one game is because that is the only game I want. If it is not on my wishlist, then do not gift it to me, just in case it's a game that I do not actually want. That would only make me feel horrible for either accepting a game I would never play, or have to refuse a gift that someone paid good money for.

Not sure, but my gut's saying that if someone wants that bundle with that price and those items, they might want to buy it now before GOG switches its contents around.

ddickinson: Isn't Spanish in the top 5 most spoken languages in the world? But I guess not in areas that have the internet or a big trade in video games. I guess from a business point of view you want to cater for the highest potential user base based on facts other than the number of people speaking a language.
You just answered your own question.

As a side note, Spain's PC market is notoriously rife with piracy and a complete and utter lack of any shame about it. I've often heard mockery for choosing to pay for a game instead of simply torrenting it. Although far less so, with digital distribution providing fair prices and great sales.

I think the copies of Windows M$ has sold outside the OEM bundled ones can be counted using the fingers of a mutant ninja turtle.

As for the rest of spanish speaking countries. That's probably a nightmare of fragmented markets with low incomes each with their own currency and I don't know how many more problems.

high rated
I gifted one of the bundles to myself and wasn't interested in two of the games... as I've been hanging out and enjoying the company in this thread lately, I figured I'd see if any of you would be interested in a code for the following two games:
Star Wars: Starfighter
Star Wars: Dark Forces

Just shoot me a PM if interested. If I get several requests I'll just pick one at random in a bit (have to step away from the computer a bit but will return shortly)
:)

GhostwriterDoF: Nothing special planned for today, or out of the ordinary (let’s hope it stays that way).

I was happy to read about your wonderful weekend and that you are doing well,
though you've been out trudging through the cold. wet countryside, and are covered in mud. ;)
Thank you, my weekend was indeed wonderful. I am mostly dry now, but still muddy. It had been raining a bit over the weekend and that always means mud. Not that I mind, nothing wrong with a little mud, getting dirty is part of working outdoors on a farm.
Sorry for the late reply *ugh-workload*

ddickinson: I am doing great, and the cold, wet, and mud never really bother me. My weekend was awesome and I am in such a happy mood.
That's really nice to hear :-)

ddickinson: Sorry to hear your day has not been off to a good start. I hope you dry out soon and that your day will start to improve. How is your wife, is she feeling any better?
She seems to be better, although the job/training/household/kids treadmill is really hard for her atm. And with me working long hours again, the pressure on her is pretty high. It's not good for neither her health nor her mood.

It's true, I hadn't noticed.

Let the frenzy begin!

Is Russia also not the same when it comes to piracy, if not worse? That is why they get cheaper games, after all, to try to entice them to play nice. But I can understand about the Spanish speaking world being fragmented, with many of the countries that speak Spanish not having the best economy or infer-structure for PC gaming.

A very generous offer. Have some much deserved +1s. :-)

ElTerprise: thank god there are no Babylon 5 video games ^^
Hmm...

CarrionCrow: They'll get over it. I've never been a huge fan of either that or Star Trek (which seem to be the two main ones), saw the movies and they were fine, but I didn't think they were so great that I fell in love with them.
It would take a better series than either has brought to the table to get me that interested.
avatar
j0ekerr: I used to love Star Wars becacuse when you're 9, laser-sword-fighting-space-warlocks is the coolest thing EVER.

Then Lucas ruined it for me.

I've always found Star Trek a bit silly. I don't think even 80's WWF could top the awkwardness of the lizard fight.
Hey! I used to go the WWF fights back in the '80's live. It was good fun. I saw Roddy Piper fight Andre the Giant 3 times even. :)

And saw Star Wars when it was first shown at the movie theatre when I was 12 years old. heh! I'll never forget see that on the big screen for the first time.

Star Trek (especially the '60's show) was always a bit cheesy though, that is what made it uniquely entertaining.

My thoughts too, that's why I just did exactly that. :-)

My shelf is now at 500 even, should be 501 but Fallout's gone missing again. :-)

No need to be sorry, I am often AWOL for a while then back on to reply to messages. *big late hug*

I hope things will be okay with your wife, and that her very busy schedule will not be too stressful. Will you be working long hours for a while, or will you be back to regular hours soon?

As for Fallout, well of course it has. Seems the norm at this point.
