Hello beautiful moon!*hugs*
Had a nice weekend?

tinyE: It's kind of silly but it was minor things that killed #1, like only being able to make one unit at a time and more than that only being able to put 6 or so troops into one group. I need to 'control-#' five times and then coordinate all of them just to pull off an attack. I'm playing C&C 95 right now and I'm able to put 50 units under one number; makes things so much easier.
Where did you got C&C 95?

There are a lot places. I'm playing it off the original disc (which I bought YEARS AGO) using an installer I found on Google, same with Red Alert 1. There are tons of other places to get it, though I don't know about the legitimacy of them. I for one abhor piracy so if you really want to play it I urge you to look into where you get it from.

You can download C&C as freeware (EA released it as freeware a few years ago), for example here

C&C 1 and 2 were released as freeware by EA in 2007 to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the series, so it should be legitimate.

Yeah I figured, I just don't want to accidentally send someone off to some illegit site where they can get attacked with MalWare and god knows what else. XD

The problem is that the old official c&c site no longer exists. They offered the isos on that old site...
And the old installer tends to refuse to work properly anyway...

I see, that's a good attitude. I downloaded them from the site of a big german computer magazine - that's quite a reliable source :D

Unless it is chip.de which nowadays bothers users with their questionable downloader...

Did it some years ago - haven't used them for a while. That sounds awful.

It's an interesting one because not everyone will be offered the downloader which is more or less adware... but i haven't it for some time either...
