GhostwriterDoF: Dong fine, the errands are done, foraging too, now all that is left is to make dinner (soon).

How about you, have a good day?
What kind of beer are you drinking?
Good to hear that you're doing fine.
Had a good day so far. Worked a bit on my paper for the university...otherwise it was quite relaxing :).

Currently i'm drinking Pilsner Urquell, a czech beer (one of my favourites) :).

Ah, a nice Pilsner, sounds good. Usually I like a darker ale, really like Guinness (cold or warm) especially out of the tap, but I drink beer so rarely now... Most of the beer we have here in the States is green (not brewed long enough) and tastes like carbonated water. heh!

A relaxing day sounds good. :)

There's Baden Baden. A brazilian brand of beer and it's quite good.

Have you heard of Red Ale or Golden Beer?
Golden Beer is traditional beer with cinnamon and red fruits.

I only know red ale from Belgium if that's the same...
You know germany is quite strict when it comes to beers. Only beers that fit the definition of the Purity law are classified as beer...
which means that i unfortunately don't know much about beers additional ingredients like cinnamon etc..
(except for something like Berliner Weisse)

Aldi is a shop. I had no clue they (or anyone for that matter) still sold near-beer.

Why not, they sell NA, and some States have some very strict laws about what they can sell when.

I get NA beer but I always thought near beer was a dodge around prohibition and taxes - I thought a lot of these obstructions were long gone now.

And isn't it Utah that caps ABV at something like ~4%? I know Ohio is ~12% which tends to piss off the folks who want some of the big barrel aged beers that clock in over or around that. I know some breweries even toss them a bone by getting label approval for a "different" beer, where the label states it at 11.9% LOL. Due to the way ABV is calculated, there actually is a fudge factor that allows for this (the ABV is a range and could technically be "between 11% - 13%).

I always found it ironic that states which capped ABV on beer have no problem whatsoever selling handles of 100 proof rubbi... er "vodka" in plastic jugs for $7.00.
