Hi *hug*
So you stopped using Steam. I guess it something to do with the selling mods stuff?

Now for some reason I'm thinking back to my Nickelback and emo years. Still like some songs but otherwise I was a very tryhard edgy teen.

Pretty much.

Probably a wise decision. Have you seen TBs video where he discusses the whole issue. Afterwards i stepped away from Steam for the moment. I don't think i'll buy anything there any more but i won't give it up completely because of CKII and EUIV. But your decision is absolutely understandable.

Good day, ElT!
Quite tired today, but I'm doing really well. I've been spending the morning playing an odd little game about Texas that was recently ninja-gifted to me ;-) (+ + + + + + +!!!)

Glad you are doing good :-)

If the "tip jar" approach were taken, then I'd understand it but outright paying for them? That's a no-no in my book.
*yawn*

Good morning.

*starts brewing pot of French Dark Roast coffee*

Hope everyone is doing well. Me? Not much going on today (other than a small party gathering with my family tonight) so I think I'll play some games. I've been taking a break from Icewind Dale though, the combat just seems like it's being used too much, and it seems quite hard. Other than that it's a good game, don't get me wrong.

Anyways, I'm thinking about starting another one of the RPG's in my backlog, or pulling out a Lucas adventure such as Loom or Monkey Island 1.

Also I'm currently considering upgrading my Debian Stable to Jessie some time soon, so.... wish me luck! :P

Yeah. This idea of giving the modders a tip if you want would have been reasonable. And in addition Skyrim was the wrong game to start with as many of the mods are relying on other mods...

What i also find outrageous is that the modders only get a 25 percent share...

Good afternoon folks, how are you all doing today?

Interesting weekend sale. Sadly it has one major flaw. NO HOTLINE MIAMI!

I just heard on the news that Luis de Guindos, Spain's minister of economy could become the next president of the eurogroup, whatever that means. Which confirms something I've long suspected, the election of figureheads in the eurozone is basically a "who's the biggest bitch" contest.

That guy is the political equivalent of goatse.

ps: I AM buzzed right now, let's see how long it lasts.

This is the bit that gets me. While I have no problem with modders being able to be paid for their work (although the whole web of using other mods etc. does make that complicated) but only getting 25% of the money? I know Steam are bound to take a cut, and probably the original developers / publishers too but surely the person who actually did the work should get at least 50%...
