ddickinson: My idea of relaxation for today? Well I am at work until about 9pm (started at 4am), so that will not leave me much time for relaxation. I guess just a nice hot bath, something nice for dinner when I get home, and hopefully at least some time with my partner.
Ooof! That's some working hours... I certainly can't compete with that, even with a 10h work day and the "second shift" that awaits me at home.

No problem, I always bring some extra wigs for those who are sparsely haired,
or feathers for those who are wearing hats... ;)

On a side note... Eeek!

When I try to use Firefox to log onto GoG, I don't get the "Log In, Sign Up" section of the menu, so I can't log in. (though I didn't try to do it before installing the Greasemonkey addon, though I did try to disable the addon and still no ability to log in. :/

Also, am I supposed to install Java for the scripts to run? (I don't have Java installed.)
When I did try to install Java, it said that the version available was not compatible with a 64bit OS, and there doesn't seem to be any individual downloads for Java for Win 7 64bit... bleh...

Is there a different way to set up a GoG user wiki? Even just to manually put all the information there, including adding all the games to my game shelf and wishlist?

I'm not sure, the problem with Firefox sounds like a major bug on GOG's end.

If it's not working at all, I'd send the PM to Barefoot_Monkey, tell them about the problem, then see if they can make an account anyway. You can add text to a list when you have one, so as a last resort, it might be possible to have the space to type it all out if you really want to.

Hi GhostwriterDoF,

I don't know who told you to install Java, but I assure you that it's not needed for using the GOGWiki site.

Greasemonkey should also not interfere with your GOG nav bar. Can you try to uninstall and reinstall it? Did you install the Barefoot Essentials 2.0 script?

You should be able to set up your GOGWiki page any way you like, even without the Barefoot Essentials 2.0 script, it just makes things simpler and automates the procedure of importing your wishlist and game shelf.

We could take this over PM if you'd like some help to troubleshoot what's going on.

And a very good day to everyone, hope you're all doing well today.

Good evening. =)

Excellent timing on your part, I just have the info that you told me about while helping me get my account set up.

GOGwiki is not GOG. I'm a little confused on what you are trying to achieve. If you need a GOGwiki account, contact Barefoot_Monkey as self-registering is disabled to prevent spam accounts.

Concerning Java... Do you mean JavaScript by chance? Both gog.com and Barefoot Essentials require JavaScript to work. But that's nor Java, even if it sound similar. Stay away from Java, especially the browser plugins, except you really need it. The Java browser plugin is infamous for ripping holes into computer security.
Do you have by chance JavaScript disabled, i.e. by installing a plugin like NoScript? While that is basically a good idea for people who know what they're doing, it can prevent the correct functioning of many websites. You can contact me by PM if you need help, but it might take a while before I'm able to answer.

Hi yourself! I like your devotion to the Wishlist.

Hi Hyper! Sorry you still don't feel well.
I was not getting the 'account' item in Firefox for a while yesterday either.
No idea why, it fixed itself after a few hours.
I do know the BE script was loading very, very slowly also. Others mentioned this too. Today it seems fine.
Eeep, I managed to tear not one, but two buttons off my coat today. This is not a good day for my clothes.

Hey everyone, are you all doing okay?
Good evening everyone :D *big hugs and waves*

Back from sports. Now i'm exhausted but feeling great :D

How are you all doing?
