BillyMaysFan59: So what does everyone think of today's release?
It looks extremely good. Not sure if I'll pick it up during the discount phase, but it'll definitely be a purchase.
avatar
moonshineshadow: *whispers back* Owl really can't hear us? A cunning plan? Sounds go... No no no, owl will find out.
*runs away*
avatar
ddickinson: *Whispers*

It's okay to be scared. When the time comes I promise I will come and rescue you from Owl's evil lair. It will be okay.

*looks over shoulder to make sure Owl is not behind me, then carries on developing my cunning plan*
*quick happy hug before owl can see it* ;-)

Very nice! I made a post in the release thread just now, but yeah this was a great pickup. And Kerbal is coming on Monday!

moonshineshadow: Perfect :D

EndreWhiteMane: My favorite is this:
That one is perfect. If you're going to do dumb stuff, do you really want to do it slowly? -laughs-

Shit...between Transistor, Not a Hero, the Gumshoe bundle on Bundle of Holding and that, my game budget is going really fast.

Or not, considering that D just ninja gifted me Transistor. I need to learn how to play more than one game at once. =)
If people would be so kind as to bombard the exceedingly generous lady with +1's, it would be hugely appreciated.

Apparently I'm the only one who would have a problem with carrying around what looks like a memory stick with a screwdriver sticking out of it? :-)
The 1GB VRAM scares me off anyway. ;)

I like the name "Gumshoe Bundle" LOL - is it a bunch of detective Point and Clicks?

I not sure what if anything I'll pick up but it's still really exciting to see GoG get stuff like this. I've heard about Kerbal for years (seems like its been in early access for at least 2 or 3) and can't wait to flip through a few screenshots when the game card goes up.

Do you still collect tabletop games?

ddickinson: *whispers in a very low voice, so Owl can not hear*

It's okay, I have a plan. A cunning and subtle one. As cunning as a fox who has just been appointed professor of cunning at Oxford university. :-)
By Jove, that is cunning indeed!

akhliber: Holy crap, my wife and I may be taking in a little puppy. My last pet was a cactus a good decade ago, so I am nervous but absolutely thrilled. Especially considering I am disabled and unable to drive and such, just the idea of having a little buddy at home with me during the days is exciting as hell. American Bulldog mix, only about 4 weeks old, runt of the litter and a bit malnourished, but that just seems like the perfect fit, And I am confident we will get along swimmingly.

I am at my parents' house for the day to visit and go to a medical appointment, and their back yard is just gorgeous. I am watching deer laze around on the far side of the pond and just thinking about having a new friend at home soon. It's a good day.

Good morning, folks!
Good morning. =)

I used to be far more of a cat person, but my roommates have dogs, and they've grown on me quite a bit.
It'd be an entirely different house without them around.
Best of luck to you with your new friend, hopefully the medical appointment goes well also.

As lauded as it is, I just can't get into the whole ARPG genre. I've got Bastion on the console, collecting virtual dust.

It has to be in order to outsmart Owl. Only the best of plans stands a chance. :-)

You need to recruit Agent too. Try offering him Peanut Butter Cups. :-)
Good Morning, Afternoon, and Evening to everyone here, not yet here, and to you lurkers too...

I got a couple extra hours of sleep in last night, so today I'm feeling extra alright! (I'll take 'em as I can get 'em)...

I'm still in busy mode but things are settling down, luckily all the drama around me isn't my own.

<ruffles everyone's hair and feathers playfully>

You all seem to be in good spirits and having a good day,
hoping the end of the week will take you to a restful, or productive
weekend (whichever suits you best, including both).

Otherwise, how's the world turning for you all?

akhliber: This one is spot on. My parents finally woke up, so no more waiting for coffee... Makes me think of this: https://m...youtube.com/watch?v=Bbv5B71KmkA

EndreWhiteMane: That's great! Didn't know Airplane had a sequel. *goes looking*

ElTerprise: I'll be off for the moment. See you all later *hugs and waves*
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Later. Have a good day. ;)
Airplane and Airplane 2 are both on Netflix now, I think.
avatar
CarrionCrow: It depends. The stuff that's a high priority to me won't be part of any weekend sale any time soon, they're too expensive, too recent.

Also, Transistor makes me think of cyberpunk. Cyberpunk is one of my absolute favorite genres.
avatar
j0ekerr: I actually very much want to see what CDProjekt comes up with Cyberpunk 2077.

If they have only half the love they show for the witcher, it'll be awesome. And I think they might like it as much or even more.

Bonus points for the creator of the game and game consultant not being a pompous ass.
Honestly? I want Cyberpunk more than Witcher. A lot more. Witcher looks good, and I think I'll have fun playing the series.
But I frigging WANT Cyberpunk. As much as Shadowrun, possibly more at times because of the comparative purity of it.
