I see, I do not always check the front page, so I sometimes miss new games. Could you not buy it now and play it later, or would the temptation be too much? Does the DLC for the soundtrack appeal to you, or are you not too bothered with those kind of things?

My brothers are often looking out for me and helping each other with covering the workload when one of us has something special planned. I am spending most of the day doing paperwork and some less physical tasks, but I will still be working quite late, as there are not enough hands to cover my work fully and I would not expect them to do too much for me, especially as they have their regular share of the work as well.

I'd probably end up alternating. I've been using my ragged memory of Icewind Dale stuff to give BillyMaysFan info when he has a question, but I know it's only a matter of time before my brain craps out.
So I've been using that as a way to push myself back into playing it to refresh my memory, rather than staring at my wishlist or waiting for another sale.

If the music's really good in general, I'll pick it up as a second purchase later on. Doesn't happen often since music loops tend to make me tired of listening to it before the game ends, but it happens sometimes.

It's really cool that you all look out for each other like that. Always good to have a strong family for support.

If anything, that's a generous statement. A lot of Americans freely mangle the language, hang around other people who also mangle the language, and no one even pretends to give a shit about the fact that it makes them sound like brain-damaged idiots.

I do not think the farm would be able to run if we did not all get along. It has been a family farm for a long time (a very long time), and my family has always been very close and supportive of each other. Plus, I am the youngest and have three older brothers, so they have the whole little sister protective thing going on and they are always happy to help me out, just as I am to help them when they need me.

It can vary a bit, but when you're with certain groups of people, it becomes apparent very quickly that they're kind of stupid. The language mutilation is a red flag in that regard, and other red flags typically show up shortly after.

I guess in some way, the language has evolved a little, but not too much, especially when compared to the earlier stages of the English Language.

I have never quite understood when people say British English. When people say French they think of France, they do not say France French. Surly English spoken in England should be by default just called English, with all the others having a prefix to the region, such as American-English, Australian-English, and so on.

I don't know - but English was usually referred to as British English in school....
But then as you said something like German German is also not used (it sounds riddiculous) it's just German in contrast to Austrian German and Swiss (standard) German...so you're it doesn't make any sense to call in British English as all other varieties evolved from it :).

If your family didn't, I'm figuring it would be a huge mess until the combined tension and stress of working hard all the time caused someone to have a total meltdown.

Your are right, it does not make sense at all. For me when saying English, I mean the British English. The only time I think of it as British English is when setting the language at word documents :P

I know where the term comes from, it's those damn Americans! :-)

They like to refer to their English as the default English, and thus British-English started to be used. A bit like how they decided to call football soccer and try to influence the world to do the same. I am not sure why they decided to use the term football for their sport, when football had been around for hundreds of years already by the time American-Football came along. Another example is the Jack Russell, which is an English breed of dog. I remember reading that the American Jack Russell society wants to get a law passed to have the term Jack Russell refer to the American Jack Russell, and again make the English (and the original) Jack Russell be refereed to as the British/English-Jack Russell, instead of the current American-Jack Russell.

I already guessed something like that ;)
