EndreWhiteMane: I love older movies, I'll have to look for some of those. The Farmer (Dad and Dave) comes to town doesn't seem to be available anywhere I can find.

Well. I've been playing Soulstorm, and I've noticed something.
Truly, the entire experience comes down to hate.
Hate for the enemies because they won't die faster, hate for my own units because they don't kill enemies quickly enough, hate for the levels because they are repetitive, hate for the boss fights because every one of them takes at LEAST 45 minutes to complete if not longer, hate for the publisher who pressed the developer to rush the game out the door in a subpar state, hate for the distributor who treats me like a would-be thief, and hate for myself, not only because I was stupid enough to spend money to rent it, but because my brain won't shut up about it until I beat it all.

Additional - have to go run errands. Back in a bit.

CarrionCrow: All right, a question for whoever - if I'm actually going to stream games, play them badly, and see how badly I can embarrass and humiliate myself for the entertainment of others, what should I play?

Only the worst of the worst? The best and worst both? Or should I turn it into a video documentary series of me trying to kill my backlog so people get an idea of what a game's like for possible purchasing? -laughs-
If I were you I'd go and bang my head on the nearest brick wall (several times)..

Ok seeya later,knock yourself out.

Thought you might like to see some Aussies having fun, near the end the Mighty Rabbitohs Winning the Grand Final.
Red and Green Guernseys...
Also Sam Burgess being lifted by the other players, one minute into the game got a fractured cheekbone and dislocated eye socket and didn't come off..

For those of you who hate heat, our temps are supposed to be between 33 and -12F (0 to -25C) over the next 4 days. Fun times. ;/
Come on over and bring some hot with you. :)

That sounds like our August weather, guess they're both about as bad, hot summers and cold winters. :/

How goes your masochistic endeavors Mr Crow?
Edit: I SO have a game I want to gift you. Worse than anything around here. :-)

Well, mom, sister and I spent all day at the hospital and after 2 more tests all they've determined is what's not wrong with my father. They couldn't do the angioplasty due to pain and they did something called an endoscopy because they thought he might be aenemic since his hemoglobin is absurdly low. At this point nothing is really known, he could have blood cancer or it could be something much more mundane and not life-threatening but at this point nothing is certain.

I hope that things are as well as can be expected for everyone.

Sorry to hear things didn't go very well. I've been through the "million tests and nothings wrong" crap myself, not fun at all. Hope things get better soon. :/

Just got back from running errands. They were crappy though, so I guess even offline I'm still managing to do it just fine. -laughs-

The joy of dealing with doctors....
Will be hoping that someone can manage to figure out what's going on so your father can begin to recover properly.

Fuck! Low hemoglobin and worries of being anemic could be a good thing as a "simple" transfusion could set him straight... but I'm guessing they would have done this were it the primary concern.

Sounds like they were looking for bleeding - any idea why the angioplasty? Regardless, my heart goes out for you and yours. It sucks to hear it, but medicine works backwards a lot of times - ruling out what it isn't to get to what it could be. Wishing you the best, and I know it can be slow but I hope your family is able to pull together during the uncertain times. Honestly, those are the worst. When you know what it is, you can at least prepare and support each other. Before that, it's the in between of not know what to prepare for. Much love your way!

And lo! You have described pretty much every example of troubleshooting complex systems :/
