Sounds like the summers here.
It's interesting, two sides of the same coin. You don't sleep well because of the heat, I don't sleep well because of the cold.
It's not really the heat,it's the 100% humidity that comes with it.

So after lowering every single option to its lowest possible setting, it was still painful to witness Path of Exile run that badly on the laptop.

I'm guessing you need an actual graphics card for it.

This coming from someone who played DoTT on a 286 machine with 1 meg of RAM. No sound, and I only ever got 1 frame out of 4 for the animations.

And I still completed it.

That UFO will be a bunch of spiders paragliding, mark my words.

Which is actually scarier.

What card's in your laptop? Mine has the Intel 4000 and I've been very pleased with it.

Bidets are strange constructs to most australians, Paul Hogan taught us so.

An integrated one, doesn't even have its own dedicated ram but leeches it directly off the system's. It's actually a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express.

It's a GMA based chip.

Edit: Did some digging. What you have is most probably one of these. Which is an order of magnitude above the old GMA chip that's in mine.

Yeah they actually started out on Radio,no TV in Australia until I think 1956..
