ddickinson: I hope your day is going well (other than being very busy)?
On the whole it's been a good day. Off to home in a few minutes. I ran into some work-related problems (external library code not working properly and the license says I may not change it...). And my left eye is itching which is very annoying when you are staring at a screen all day.
But the weather is really nice and i'm looking forward to dinner - nothing special, just enjoying the meal with my family because last night I was so late I had to eat alone.

And how are you today?

ElTerprise: Yeah. And a reinstallation on both my laptop and my mother's pc is planned.
We'll if that helps for the pc. My Laptop will get the dual-boot treatment my pc got a few weeks ago..:).
Are you dual booting Windows and Linux on your laptop?

It sounds like you have been very busy. But I am glad to hear you can go home soon and enjoy the evening with your family. How is your daughter, is she feeling better after the other night?

I am doing okay, very busy, and working quite late for most of this week, but the weather is nice and sunny and it's been a good day.

The vehicle is called a Rail, I think I have another pic of it from one of the last trips, let me see if I can find it...

I'm not sure about the distance, we usually go by how much time we are out there... :)

It may have been a short trip, but it was still good.

My friend has a good diesel truck, it gets about 18 to 20 mpg (yes miles! heh!) when we are
hauling stuff, so between the two of us it isn't that expensive to get out there on our own. :)

Some of the pics I take are a little blurred though, as I take them from moving vehicles... I'll have
to figure out how to adjust this camera. Got it last year, and I'm still learning to use it properly.
Perhaps one day I'll be able to get a good picture of the stars at night, with a slower shutter speed.
Glad to hear that it was still a good trip. But the picture are already really good :).

It's not really early to go home, it's 5 pm here and I've been in the office since 7 am. I know, not really comparable to the long days work on a farm can have ;-)

The little one is fine again. Must have been some mild stomach irritation. After living on dry buns and pretzel sticks for most of the weekend everything was okay. But know my wife is feeling bad - worn down and sore throat. I hope it's not something serious - again.

I'll be off for now. Maybe I can rejoin here later tonight, but I wouldn't hold my breath. ;-)
