How are you doing today?

Good morning, Tom, hope you had a better night with the little one. Have a good day today. Have you got Gothic running yet? I always used to copy my game discs into my hard drive by doing a DRM fix, and then running them from there. A quick search will show you lots of ways that can be done, I had no problems with it, and it speeded things up as well.

Hi to you, Crow, if you're still nailed to your keyboard. :-)

You liked the view of the cliffs that I posted, so I took my camera with me yesterday, and here are a couple more shots of the cliff walk taken in very different weather.
I like watching seagulls - there are 2 perched on a rock in the one shot, although they are hard to spot amongst the sea, rocks and clouds.

It's a beautiful place, refreshes your soul and makes you ready to face another day.
Which reminds me - I could do with your diesel truck when Penumbren is finished with it, thanks Crow. ;-)

GoG, as most have said, is really giving a lot of trouble. I'm trying to download games as well, to get my backups sorted, and adding these pics was a real pain. :-( Hope they post.

Good morning. =) (I'm almost always drawn back to the keyboard...)

It looks beautiful there. Thank you for taking the time and going to the trouble of taking the pictures and then fighting with GOG to post them. I really appreciate that.

-laughs- It's always around, in spirit if nothing else. ;)

How are you doing today, aside from all the difficulties with GOG not wanting to work properly?
Good morning everyone *hugs and waves*

Getting bombarded with notifications at the moment for 8 (!) games....

I hope you're all doing good :).

Good morning. =)

I got 8 as well, starting to think at this point that I'll need to go through manually and check installer and patch versions versus what I have stored.
A fully operational Galaxy looks really good right now.

Aside from that, can't complain. Another quiet night, trying to decide which game to play next fully.

Interesting or frustrating, one of the two. Finding out that some of my games hadn't been updated in a month since the notices were broken doesn't exactly fill me to the brim with happiness about how the site is functioning.

Good call. Computers are temperamental at best, don't want your mother to lose anything important.

I've got a number of them, already in various stages of progress.
Once I wipe out those 11, I'm going to a strict 1 game at a time policy, from start to finish. No hopping around, no multitasking, no crap sitting on my desktop unplayed for months.
Well,were being belted again.....

Definitely. And there are important documents on that computer...

Good plan. I have similar problems. I installed many games and and have nothing to play right now ;). I think i should do the same. That way would reduce the number of unplayed games significantly i hope.

So do you any tendency what you should play...

All the better that you're looking out for her and taking care of it, then. =)

It's an easy thing to do, once a person has a pile of things. You get curious about one, then another, then another, until you've got drops of time in on a mass of items but never really sink into them.

I want my list to be clear so I can stop picking at it and focus on enjoying the things I have, rather than acquiring more and more of them.

Good evening. =)

That weather sounds insane. If it's near your location, be safe. Getting blown away in a gale-force wind does not sound like a fun time.

40 hours...holy shit.
Looking at the news report pictures, it looks crazy and I know the pics don't begin to fully show how bad it is.

Correct, and it's still raining with the winds.
Your backlog is nothing compared to S.E.S. Last count was over 5,000 calls to be for help.
200,000 people without power and it could be another two weeks to repair.
Been warned that the worst is still to come...
