OK folks, time to get cleaned up and see if I can get to the store without falling on my head.
See y'all in a bit. :-)

See you later and good luck ;).

bad_fur_day1: +1 for your bravery. Kinda like hugging a poisonous rattlesnake that slithered in here.

EndreWhiteMane: Hmmm, you sound like a pretty decent person to me, no rattlesnake that I can see. :-)
I'm sure the devil seems really charming too when you first meet him. ;)

I have a piece of candy if you want to come over here...
Well that is me done for the day. Have a good morning/afternoon/evening everyone! No doubt I shall read you all later. :-)

*goodbye hugs and silly waves*

A good evening for you as well *big hug*

See you later :)
How are you people and other entities?

I had a pretty normal day, woke up, loitered a bit, did some grocery shopping, read on the news that a 13 year old had gone on a rampage and killed a teacher and injured at least 3 other people with a home-made crossbow and a knife at his high school, facepalmed while thinking what the hell is wrong with the world.

Business as usual.

Before the promo ends, I'm thinking of getting something from it. Magrunner seems interesting.

There was also some talk about Waking Mars not being just a platformer.

PS: 12 whole pages? You guys are chatty when I'm not around.

bad_fur_day1: I was thinking less about bugs and more about dissociative sociopathic aggressive personality disorders. Perhaps you can't catch that from a hug, but just to be safe I thought I'd warn you guys.

Now you probably caught some already.
Those things are actually virtues when you worship Khorne.

I'm more of a Nurgle guy. But Nurgle loves you no matter what.

Hi J0ekerr! I find waking mars pretty relaxing, more thinking than jumping in my opinion.

AgentBirdnest: We are getting too lazy to make our own crap, so we have to start importing it. There is plenty of crap to go around, but we are the only ones shameless enough to steal it, then sell it back to everyone :-)

I've always thought it is very strange how bundles work... I would think that developers would make more money by selling their games individually with a discount, but I don't know... I fail miserably at economics... I can see how it would be good for unheard-of games that might not sell at all to be bundled with more popular titles, but I don't understand why the more popular ones are there in the first place... I'll never understand. I'm just a simple-minded 'Murican ;-p

ddickinson: Come now, you are not just some simple-minded American. You are our Agent, and we think you are awesome.

*big epic rib cracking hug for the awesome and smart Agent*

That is what I meant about the games on bundles. You think, Lifeless Planet, for example: If goes on a Humble Bundle as the PWYW tier. So I go and pay just $1 (I could pay less, as $1 minimum is for Steam keys, not the DRM-Free version, so technically I could pay just 1 cent). So lets say I pay $1 and there are 4 games that are part of the PWYW tier. Now, if for the moment we don''t take into account Humble's cut, that would mean there were 5 games sharing $1, making it 20 cent each. And for that 20 cent I get a DRM-Free version of Lifeless Planet, and a Steam version. Two copies of the game for just 20 cent.

But on GOG I do not think I have ever seen it below $8 (approx). Imagine if they put it on sale for $4, or $2, even if GOG took 50% of the money (which I doubt would be their cut), they would still get at least $1/$2 per game, and that is just for one DRM-Free version, not a Steam version as well. Surly that makes more sense than taking part in Bundles and refusing to put your game on sale for a reasonable amount, especially when your game has mixed reviews which when combined with the price will put potential buys off.
Another example that's coming to mind - Skulls of the Shogun.
Released on GOG within the last few months, 9 dollars retail, and the developers and/or publishers have already put it on the lowest tier of a Humble Bundle.
They are screwing themselves over so badly. I can't help but think that their sales are absolutely abysmal. If they weren't, why in the world would they be selling their product for 33 cents?

But didn't they screw themselves earlier when the game was Windows 8 Store exclusive?
